The Educational Support program prepares learners for a career in educational settings supporting students with learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, sensory or physical disabilities and behavioural challenges. This program will prepare learners to be part of a multidisciplinary team that supports students with diverse learning needs while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment that promotes students’ well-being.

Within this two-year diploma program, learners also participate in experiential and applied learning opportunities that allow further integration of theory and application.

Machinists are skilled craftspersons who use precision metal cutting and grinding machines to fabricate high quality parts. They understand the methods behind using a variety of tools to measure, cut, drill, form, shape, grind and finish metal, plastic or similar materials. You’ll learn how to produce parts based on engineered drawings and how to diagnose mechanical malfunctions. The Community Pharmacy Assistant program is designed to provide students with the skills necessary to be employed as a pharmacy assistant in a community pharmacy setting.

Areas of study include anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, communication skills, pharmacy law and ethics, pharmacy calculations, non-sterile compounding techniques, long term care pharmacy, receiving and entering a prescription, pharmacy software, inventory and third-party billing. Interpersonal communication skills is developed and evaluated along with other related skills in laboratory sessions on campus and during the practicum period.

Note: An accelerated study option is available for this program beginning in April. Students enrolled in this option continue their studies throughout the entire calendar year, enabling them to complete the program requirements within 20 months of full-time study.

Auto Body and Collision Technicians see cars as canvases. They are detailed artists who repair and restore damaged motor vehicle body parts and interior finishing components, repaint body surfaces and repair and replace automotive glass. You’ll learn how to prime, paint, weld, apply body filler application, conduct fibreglass repair, as well as how to operate manual, electric and pneumatic tools. Our fully-equipped shop will let you exercise your creative skills by designing mock-ups and working on real customer vehicles.
