If you are enrolled in any of the following Sault College Electrical Engineering Programs listed below, you may be eligible in your second or third year to take courses that will allow you to gain this additional diploma:

The Instrumentation and Control Engineering Technician program will prepare you to install, calibrate, configure, maintain, service, test, troubleshoot, analyze and upgrade measuring and control devices and systems, which equip process industries.

This eight-month program, unique in the province of Ontario, is designed for those who don`t have a business-related background or education, but recognize the importance of having key knowledge of business to enhance job prospects and for advancement in their careers. In only a few months, you will develop the skills in the key areas of management, marketing, accounting, finance, human resource management and other critical business-related functions, while earning a graduate certificate from a recognized post-secondary program. Most other college programs take two years to give you the level of study you will gain at Sault College in less than one. The Office Administration - Executive program is an accelerated course of study that will provide you with the opportunity to develop the skills and productivity tools needed to be a key part of the success in today`s highly specialized offices. In only three semesters taken consecutively, you can master the skills and knowledge traditionally offered in a full two-year semester program, earning you an Ontario College diploma in only 46 weeks.

To reflect these beliefs, Sault College has developed a holistic and evidence based program that incorporates the required knowledge, theory, values, and hands on skills to be successful within the various settings of healthcare. When you have completed the Personal Support Worker program at Sault College, you will be able to work with clients across the lifespan in settings such as long term care facilities, hospitals, private agencies, retirement homes, home care settings, boards of education (special needs children), palliative care settings, senior citizen recreation centres, respite settings, and group homes.

The Electrical Engineering Technician – Process Automation program provides practical knowledge of electricity and electronics. As a graduate of the technician program, you will be able to install, test, modify, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems. Not only that, but you’ll also be able to evaluate, analyze, design, and develop those same systems!
