This three-year advanced diploma program introduces you to a broad background in analog and digital electronics, software development, modern communications and control systems. Topics covered include electronic circuitry, diagnostic techniques, microcontrollers, process control and computer systems and networks, along with digital communications, control systems and mechatronics. During the final year, you will focus on applying the principles you have learned to design and testing electronic projects.

In addition, your professors have strong ties with major tech companies, including Microsoft, Bell, Rogers, Keysight Technologies and Freescale Semiconductors, to help you gain exposure to current industry practices and build a network prior to graduation. This two-year diploma program is designed to provide a solid foundation of the skills and knowledge required to work in the corporate travel business, leisure, or cruise travel sectors. In this program, you will understand the tourism industry as a business with an emphasis on developing a service-driven attitude and honing business skills in marketing, sales and customer relations.

You will also acquire knowledge in negotiation, risk management, learn industry specific global distribution systems, discover local and international tourism destinations and geography.

In semester two of the program, you can continue your studies in the Tourism Services concentration or switch to the Tourism –Services Management - Global Tourism Business concentration.  Switching is seamless with a common first semester in both programs.

This eight-month certificate program will introduce you to modern manufacturing techniques including programming and Computer Assisted Manufacturing (CAM). You will study both theory and practical aspects of modern metal machining and cutting while focusing on programming, advanced manufacturing techniques and interpreting engineering drawings.
