Bring the worlds of electrical engineering and mechanical engineering together. After studying general mechanical engineering concepts in your first year, you'll focus on programmable logic controllers and robotics in your final two semesters. Co-op
Students in this program may apply to the co-op program during their third academic semester. Enrolment in the co-op program is limited through an additional co-op application process that takes place during second year. Students in the co-op program are eligible to complete three co-op work terms prior to graduation. Co-operative Education is a form of work-integrated learning that links classroom learning with paid or unpaid work experience within a professional environment. Course credits can be transferred (either before or after graduation) directly to the Chemical Engineering Technology, Chemical Engineering Technology - Environmental or Environmental Technician programs at Sheridan, making the Chemical Laboratory Technician option extremely flexible.
