Process Systems Engineering (PSEng) is a broad category of engineering that deals with the process design for the purpose of converting raw goods to usable end products, including energy. Process engineering looks at the entire process from Point A, which is a raw material, to Point Z, which is the desired end product. It does not necessarily deal with acquiring the raw base material, although knowledge of its acquisition is part of the U of R’s systems approach to teaching and research.

A master s degree in the field of Biochemistry furthers the study of chemical processes that relate to living organisms, and is a diverse and fascinating discipline. Gerontology is the study of the social, psychological, and biological aspects of aging. Master of Music (MMus) in Conducting
This 30 credit hour program offers intensive individualized studies in conducting for wind ensemble, orchestra, or choir. Students undertake a wide range of conducting projects and score study. The program culminates with a concert in which the student conducts a major work for large ensemble. All students also take graduate courses in critical theory in the fine arts, and in research techniques specific to music. This degree is an excellent choice for anyone interested in enhancing their conducting skills, including high school teachers who wish to gain extra qualifications.
