Mechatronics Engineers work in all aspects of the development of smart machines – from design and testing right through to manufacture. This could be in industries like robotics, medical and assistive technology, human-machine interaction, manufacturing, unmanned aerial and ground vehicles, and education.

The Bachelor of Design program at Chitkara University is an intense, four year long endeavour that sharpens students’ ability to conceptualize, research, plan, design and detail the reinvention of all kinds of interior spaces including small, nuclear family homes, public establishments, commercial entities, recreational venues, healthcare facilities, and cultural institutions.

B. E. in Electronics and Communications Engineering is a four year professional undergraduate program, concerned with applying knowledge in electronics to facilitate communication and solve engineering problems. The students are provided an opportunity to choose specialisation electives to focus on their identified areas of interest such as embedded systems, wireless communication, satellite communication, biomedical signal processing, VLSI fabrication technology, speech processing, and optical communication. The curriculum of the 4-year B.E. (ECE) program is directed towards imparting knowledge in the major specialised areas of Embedded Systems and Internet of Things (IoT), Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) Design, Networking, Artificial Intelligence, and Wireless Communications.

The manpower requirement in the BFSI industry has risen with over 10 million individuals projected to be employed in the next couple of years. In view of this, the sector is in constant need of dynamic human resources who possess not only traditional knowledge but a strong, more specialised customer centric approach, relevant social skills, aptitude towards sales, relationship building and business acquisition acumen.
