This course gives an insight to the students into the fundamentals of legal studies. They are exposed to basic concepts of law and legal system. Apart from the traditional ways like lecture, assignments etc teaching pedagogy will cover up most up-to-date methods such as research, case studies, presentations, mooting, discussions, and clinical legal education.

The post-graduate course in law is aimed at providing advanced education and training to law graduates. The curriculum is diligently designed to cater to the needs of the students. Currently, School of Law is running LL.M. in three different streams i.e. Corporate and IP Laws, Cyber Laws and Cyber Security and Criminal Law and Criminal Justice.

Course Outcomes

• The basic agenda of LL.M. is to provide an academically rich atmosphere to the students so as to enable them to gather deeper insight into specific fields of law
• The course intends to prepare the students for academic and research field as well as to foster the professional needs of a law graduate

Considering the vastness of English studies today which is becoming multi-disciplinary both in text, authors and genres, the students will get an opportunity to read and write on Shakespeare, Romantic poetry, Victorian poetry and analyse the same in the light of literary theory and criticism. An in depth study of the different authors, will make the students explore and enhance and stretch their horizons pertaining to language and literature. They will also have ample space to delve into Nobel award-winning post-colonial works from Africa, Asia, North and Latin America, and Modern Europe. This course aims the students to be able to understand the literatures belonging to different ages and to be able to analyze and interpret the same. The students will also be able to understand and appreciate literature as a reflection and reproduction of culture. In addition to this the course strives to enable students to comprehend movements like existentialism, surrealism, impressionism, imagism, Marxism, psychoanalysis, structuralism and post modernism. This Course provides students with an opportunity to assess their interests and be able to build a strong foundation for self literary works.

The program seeks to develop creative thinkers, strategic planners and project execution professionals who can communicate effectively, harness the global environment and develop future talent that is acclimatized to working in the current multicultural and diverse world with a perspective of inclusion. The event and entertainment domain is global and multi-faceted with various media streams. Hence a global perspective with adequate knowledge of media integration is pivotal. We empower our students with in-depth and applicable knowledge of the Live Media domain. Students who major in Events & Entertainment management enter a variety of careers which include domains like Project Management, Business Development, Wedding Planning, Marketing & Sponsorship, Experiential Marketing, Social & Digital Media, Hospitality & Logistic Management, Production & Operation Management, Artiste Management, Hybrid Event Specialist, Creative Development, Event Visualiser, On-stage & Backstage Management etc.

The Course introduces the students to the vast and dynamic world of Events & Entertainment management. The students are equipped with adequate knowledge and skills to build a strong foundation that provides them with an opportunity to explore various opportunities with Corporates, Event Agencies, PR agencies, Broadcast, Content Producers, OTT Platforms and Advertising Agencies.

The course in MA Psychology intends to provide the students the basic training required to become practicing psychologists in their selected specialized area. The course covers the study of mind processes, motives, reactions, feelings, conflict resolution, crisis management, groupthink, motivations, and nature of the mind. It enables the students in conducting research work in different areas of Psychology and prepares them to undertake higher responsibilities in their professional field. The emphasis of the program lies in promoting critical and applied thinking in students in diverse areas such as counseling psychology, clinical psychology, social psychology, and industrial/organizational psychology. It is expected that the students will be able to design, conduct and analyze data through exposure to various research techniques and demonstrate competence in interpreting and critiquing scholarly work in their specialized area. The designed course structure enhances the ability to practically apply various psychological concepts and skills in innovative way. It also enables students to differentiate between the various forms of psychological assessments, testing and their appropriate application. In addition to this, students will imbibe the ethical code for psychologists and exhibit beneficence towards their clients in all respects.

The B.Com (Honors) program is intended to provide strong foundation and overall academic development to students. This programme caters to commerce aspirants who desire to build their professional competence on a higher plateau with specialised knowledge in the field of financial market and banking & finance. It aims to equip students with the knowledge and competence in the field of business and commerce to pursue a professional career. This programme is to impart basic knowledge and skills in all the important subjects in the field of Commerce, to equip the students thoroughly in the field of financial market and banking & finance, to prepare students for advanced studies in Finance and Management and also professional courses in Accounting, Costing, Financial Analysis, Insurance and Corporate Secretary-ship, to foster ethical and moral values and attitudes for their development as effective personnel for business, industry and the financial services sector.

The Master in Public Policy and International Affairs program equips future decision-makers with the knowledge and practical skills to make sound International policy decisions. The course aims to provide comprehensive analysis of various streams in international affairs like conflict resolution, diplomacy, human rights, international finance and international law. This programme student acquires the substantive knowledge, practical skills and real-world experience to address the big issues of international affairs. The curriculum integrates extensive experiential learning, including capstone workshop projects with organizations around the world. Students pursue a customizable core curriculum, including a wide range of courses on international politics and political economy. The school is providing specialization in selected games and sports as per the profession or interest of the players. To meet the demand of the time both practical and theoretical grounds have been established for furnishing the students in all aspects. The objective of making the students physically competence and providing knowledge of movement and safety is done via using different modes which includes carrier oriented courses, interaction & counseling from India’s sports personalities. Which not only boost the morale of the students but also helps them to analyze and evaluate the different career opportunities as per their interest.

B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science) is an undergraduate programme which has been specifically designed to provide a platform to undergraduate students for a prospective career in upcoming data science industry. The course encompasses Data Science as an interdisciplinary, problem-solving approach that learns to apply scientific techniques to practical problems. It is intensive skill-oriented program with enough practical training for building business models for analytics. With analysis and statistical approach, data science is one of the fastest growing career opportunities in the country. It is designed to give exposure to the variety of applications that can be built using techniques covered under this program.
