The B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology degree is awarded following completion of a three-year undergraduate programme committed to the study of human mental processes and behaviour. The programme aims to instil the necessary knowledge and skills for each student’s personal and academic growth, nurturing the next generation of professional leaders in psychology, counselling, and related fields.

The BA (Hons.) English (Language and Literature) programme is a well-designed curriculum delivered through the Jindal School of Languages and Literature that, first, leads students to mastery of the English language, and second, encourages their intensive engagement with literary and performative cultures expressed in the English language. While ‘literature in English’ is not the same thing as world literature, the English language is by now arguably the most important medium of world literature.

English is the language through which most people in the world today encounter, in translation, the literature and written heritage of the whole world. The undergraduate English degree the world over is known for its versatility and enduring value; although BA English is a pre-professional degree, it opens many doors to personal fulfilment and professional accomplishment. The three-year fully residential BBA (Hons.) Degree programme is designed to give a global business management perspective through a unique pedagogy of learning and interaction. The BA (Hons.) in Built Environment Studies at the Jindal School of Art and Architecture is a unique 3 + 1 (fellowship year option) program in the country. This program is especially designed for students who are interested in building and maintaining our cities, towns, infrastructure and communities from a humanistic and social scientific background. Through courses in this program you learn about the fundamentals of design & making our cities, towns infrastructure and communities in addition to learning law, policy, environmental issues, question of economics, technology, sustainability and ecology; all of which prepare you for becoming active participants in making the Built Environment of the future. Your “classrooms” are live cases and projects where you work with experts to learn how design, policy and law and go hand in hand to make buildings, cities, infrastructure to secure development that is just and equitable for communities. You visit and intern in firms that work globally in areas of housing, urban development, community design and development, conservation and heritage management, landscape design, sustainable development to develop your own insights into the variety of people who work on the Built Environment. You also avail of many exchange opportunities with similar programs in some of the top schools of design globally.
The Architectural Studies program, is geared towards students who are especially keen to embark on a career of engaging with the built environment from the point of view of nature, culture, history, politics and society. The program combines course from design and the liberal arts to produce professionals who are committed to understanding and making our built environment just, safe and equitable. Graduate of this program would be part of a team of professionals who ensure that building designs and construction happens in a manner that is historically sensitive, contextually appropriate and both pleasing and sensitive to the needs of its inhabitants

The B.A. (Hons.) in Sociology at JGU is designed to equip you with the tools and knowledge to be an effective actor in our rapidly changing world. It does so by exposing you to the means to analyse and explore that world (methodology), to debate the various ways in which society and culture has been understood and explained (theory), to understand the linkages between the many levels of society and culture which of necessity touch on the economic, political, psychological, ecological and environment, and on the workings of the human imagination in the arts and creative activities (holism), and to explore how the insights generated can be applied in the real world (policy).

Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) offers the 5 years integrated Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws (B.A. LL.B (Hons)) programme since its inception in 2009. Through a combination of courses in Arts and Law subjects, the programme is designed in keeping with the latest Bar Council of India rules and the University Grants Commission prescriptions and aims at fostering a culture of scholarship and academic excellence amongst the students.

• The B.A. LL.B course provides a holistic understanding of the legal discipline through a combination of humanities, and law. This multidisciplinary approach equips the students to apply the law to the facts.

In the year 2021, we face an increasing array of environmental challenges that require greater levels of innovation and collaboration among industry, government, academics and communities. Jindal School of Environment and Sustainability (JSES) hopes to support the global efforts (India/Asia/Global South) toward a sustainable future with cutting-edge teaching, research and practice-based engagement. Through national and international collaborations, JSES will promote interdisciplinary studies, joint teaching and research programmes, and a comparative perspective on environment and sustainability issues. JSES has now opened admissions to the B.A./B.Sc. (Hons.) in Sustainable Development programme for the academic year 2022-23.

The B.A./B.Sc. (Hons.) in Sustainable Development uniquely combines natural and social sciences with humanities to equip students with a thorough understanding of sustainable development and its many facets. The programme is distinguishable from the B.A. in Environmental Studies based on its specific focus on the Sustainable Development Goals and its emphasis on scientific knowledge.

Business Analytics deals with the study, analysis and interpretation of all data about businesses. The curriculum, focusing exclusively on Analytics, is uniquely designed for the young minds who need to acquire the combination of skill sets of Business Management and Information Technology. The specialized programme is meant for those people who are interested to solve business problems in a data driven manner. Hence, the curriculum covers Information Technology (IT), Statistical Methods as well as all business aspects in detail.

The MPH is a research-intensive two-year postgraduate degree programme that enables students to attain foundational training, skills and competencies to embark on a career in public health both in the Indian and global context. Building on the level of internationalization at JGU, the programme introduces students to a multiplicity of approaches and seeks to build competencies through a range of core courses, electives, specializations, dissertations and capstone options. In addition, students have the options of undertaking semester exchange and study abroad programmes with key institutions and centers of excellence in public health. The B.A. Economics (Honours) degree at the Jindal School of Government and Public Policy (JSGP) aims to provide theoretical and practical knowledge that makes accurate analysis of the economic situation possible.

B.A. Economics graduates from JSGP must be able to understand the interrelation between the economy and society: to consider economic problems from a global perspective and take a local approach to solve them; to make connections between an economic system’s different components; to gauge the implications of decisions related to economic policy; and to respond to the economic problems arising from society in general and the different units that interact therein (e.g. institutions, private companies and sectors of the economy).
