B. Tech. Chemical Engineering Spl in Refining and Petrochemicals is a specialization running since 2010 and has been accredited by NBA in 2019. This program enables students to have in-depth knowledge regarding the oil, gas, chemical, and the petrochemical sector, with major future prospects in industries like Exxon Mobil, Halliburton, Shell, Reliance, Phillips Carbon Black Ltd., Dr. Reddy’s Lab, etc. The program deals with courses like Petroleum refining technology, Petrochemical process technology, Catalyst design and catalysis, Chemical Industry 4.0 etc. which prepares the student to be ready for any oil and gas industry. We have our student alumni with this degree doing extremely well in both PSUs like Indian Oil Corporation Limited and also private sector like Exxon Mobil, Halliburton, Shell, Reliance etc.

The course is a concoction of the study of commerce and law. By completing this integrated course, a student can learn about two different professional fields. The specialised law course, in its five-years duration, equips the students with the knowledge of both commerce and legislative regulations as a comprehensive concept.

M.Sc. with specialization of nutrition and dietetics is two year master program, which covers all theory and practical courses of nutrition and dietetics.  This program enable the students to learn the methods of assessing human nutritional requirements, nutritional assessment and diet planning.

Smart grid and computing represent a new generation of hardware, software and network that connect physical infrastructure with analytic computing systems. Smart grid is the emerging energy system wherein the application of information technology, tools and techniques make the grid run more efficiently. Frequently occurring high impact low probability natural disaster and cyber-attack creates the need for future-ready resilient smart grid. The challenges and opportunities of emerging and future smart grids can be addressed by computing techniques. The objective of this minor specialisation is to provide different computing applications for energy management in the smart grid architecture and science of resilient smart grid against natural disaster and cyber-attacks.

The course equips students with specific laws that govern the digital media landscape as well as mass media in general – whether it is about advertising on the digital platform or Over-the-Top media services. The emphasis is on developing critical as well as analytical thinking in the specialized area though case study, projects, workshops, masterclasses by industry experts, among other pedagogical tools.

Energy analytics is an interdisciplinary area applying techniques and methodologies of engineering management, economics, statistics, and electrical engineering to solve real-world analytical problems in the energy industry. The course covers major energy-related applications of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. It includes areas such as energy data analysis, load forecasting, price forecasting, renewable generation forecasting, energy trading and risk management, demand response and customer analytics, and utilities outage analytics.
