The Integrated B.Tech Food Technology-M.B.A program helps students save one year, as it is a 5-year program in which students get both B.Tech Food Technology Degree as well as MBA degree and it is as per UGC Norms. In this integrated program, the management of food processing, storage, transportation, distribution, marketing, sale, profit and loss calculations are imparted.

This specialization lays a solid foundation in all areas of food biotechnology and provides a comprehensive review of the biological and chemical concepts that are important in each discipline. Food Biotechnology is a branch of food science in which modern biotechnological techniques are applied. It covers topics ranging from molecular biology to industrial applications of food biotechnology for the improvement of food and food products. It prepares students for careers in the dynamic food sector as well as for research and development.

This integrated specialization further offers students a chance to choose between two MBA specializations:

This program offers basic technologies of Virtualization (enabler of Cloud), infrastructure less computing at client side by IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service)-by Vmware, Virtual Box, Openstack etc., PaaS (Platform as a service), having platforms for development environments, SaaS(Software as a Service), deploying software on cloud enabled infrastructure, performance tuning of deployed objects-checking efficiency and security in Cloud.

This specialised undergraduate program deals with the business, policy governance, regulatory, and legal aspects of various non-renewable/fossil fuels and renewable energy sources. B. Pharmacy is a four-year undergraduate professional program spread across eight semesters which deals with the study of medicines. The core subjects of the program include pharmaceutical chemistry (chemistry of medicinal compounds), pharmaceutics (manufacturing of dosage forms such as tablets, capsules etc.), pharmacology (action of drugs on the body and action of body on the drugs) and pharmacognosy (medicinal drugs obtained from plants and other natural sources). Frequently occurring high impact low probability natural disaster and cyber-attack creates the need for future-ready resilient smart grid. The challenges and opportunities of emerging and future smart grids can be addressed by computing techniques. The objective of this minor specialisation is to provide different computing applications for energy management in the smart grid architecture and science of resilient smart grid against natural disaster and cyber-attacks.
