Digital oilfield concept blends business process management with digital technologies for workflow automation, productivity maximization, and cost reduction, resulting in O&G operation risk minimization.

A thorough implementation of digital oilfield can aid E&P as well as service companies enhance operational efficiency, production optimization, data integration, teamwork, and workflow automation. Furthermore, productivity gains can be achieved through enriched understanding of the subsurface, long-distance monitoring of drilling and completion operations, and logistics optimization.

The specialization in marketing prepares the students on subjects like Social and Digital Media Marketing, Advertising and Sales Promotion etc. The emphasis is on developing critical as well as analytical thinking in the specialized area though case study, projects, workshops, masterclasses by industry experts, among other pedagogical tools.

Food and environmental microbiology offers electives courses such as probiotics and pre-biotics, food contamination and food borne diseases, bio fertilizers and bioremediation. Each stage of course is one up the previous level. Pre-biotics and pro-biotics talk about how microbes are used in therapy and in impacting our over-all health. Food borne diseases then talks about how infectious diseases are contracted through food and what shall be done to prevent it. The last course in the specialization bio-fertilizers and bioremediation elaborates the role of microbes in killing other microbes, pests and insects and bio-remediation elaborates on the use of microbes in removal of toxins, contaminants and pollutants from environment. These three courses enable a student to become prospective food and or environmental microbiologist. The syllabus designed is such that students intern in industries/companies of their interest and do multi-disciplinary research project at School of Health Sciences UPES in tie up with School of computer science, School of business, School of Engineering and Design. The focus remains on outcome based education with the outcome being highly employable, problem solving microbiologists.  

Mainframe Program is a hub of domains such as Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Open Source, Banking, Insurance, Data Analytics and many more so it opens the door for numerous opportunities. B.Tech.(CSE) with specialization in Mainframe Technology program offers industrial exposure with hands-on training at mainframe.

The objective of this program is to equip the students with ways to find solutions to the challenges imposed by climate change, and the principle on which to build the future of business. It covers general management skills as well as the ability to apply those skills in transition to sustainability and the efficient use of natural resources, thus adding an ethical dimension to business.

The Indian semiconductor and embedded design industry are expected to earn revenues of $114.2B in 2025 compared to $27.6B in 2015, with a CAGR of 15.3%. This requires deep understanding and hands-on experience of industry relevant chip design and verification skills i.e. SOC, CMOS, RTL Design, Verilog HDL, FPGA and System Verilog.
