This course provides students with the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of, and to reflect deeply upon, some of the most significant conceptual and practical issues associated with the future of the environment. The legal study of environmental issues not only provides insight into how societies respond to environmental problems but also how our lives are structured and designed to accommodate environmental issues.

This professional integrated degree of arts with the profound knowledge of the law gives a double boost to the career of students aspiring to join the legal fraternity. The subjects covered under arts include Sociology, History, Political Science in correlation with legal subjects of Criminal Law, Civil Law, Administrative Law, Constitutional Law and Labour Laws under the proficient guidance of highly qualified faculty members.

This course has been designed to examine the interactions between food production and consumption, health, and environment through environmental and food justice lenses. Building on concepts developed in food systems, it explores topics such as public health disparities and their structural causes, environmental toxins in the food system and their impact on workers and consumers, as well as policies that have or could affect these outcomes, in both historical and contemporary contexts.

Apart from conceptual discussion and debates, the program also includes field trips and/or guest lectures to give practical experience to the learners.

The course is a concoction of the study of commerce and law. By completing this integrated course, a student can learn about two different professional fields. The specialised law course, in its five-years duration, equips the students with the knowledge of both commerce and legislative regulations as a comprehensive concept.

Forensic science is a highly advanced research method used in criminal and civil investigations to address critical questions. An integral part of the criminal justice system, it includes techniques such as the analysis of fingerprints, DNA analysis, and ballistics and explosives.

This course has been designed keeping in mind the close interrelation between law and forensic science to make students well-versed with the fundamental and advanced concepts of forensic science and its application in legal jurisprudence.

Computational Mathematics involves mathematical research in areas of science and engineering where computing plays an essential role. Some topics of study include developing accurate and efficient numerical methods for solving physical or biological models, analysis of numerical approximations to differential and integral equations, developing computational tools to better understand data and structure, etc. 

B. Pharmacy is a four-year undergraduate professional program spread across eight semesters which deals with the study of medicines. The core subjects of the program include pharmaceutical chemistry (chemistry of medicinal compounds), pharmaceutics (manufacturing of dosage forms such as tablets, capsules etc.), pharmacology (action of drugs on the body and action of body on the drugs) and pharmacognosy (medicinal drugs obtained from plants and other natural sources). In addition to the core subjects defined by PCI, electives such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Design Thinking and Data Analytics are offered to the students.

The Integrated (B.Des) - (M.Des) - in Product Design lays emphasis on a process-centric approach of participation and teamwork to shape the students’ education. The curriculum is designed in a way that gradually increases in complexity levels and covers broad areas that product designers will come across in their professional careers. Collaborative projects with industrial houses, social sector, government and multinational companies are a part of the education process.

M.Sc. (Petroleum Geo-Sciences)- Unconventional Hydrocarbons

Unconventional hydrocarbons include shale gas, tight oil, tight gas, coalbed methane, and gas hydrates. Oil and gas industry is going through a change, where the conventional production is steadily being replaced by unconventional hydrocarbon exploitation. After the success of shale gas in North America and its impact on the conventional oil and gas industry, it is believed that the future of oil and gas will see more new unconventional technologies and workflows that will allow increasingly efficient exploitation.

While there are some common aspects to all unconventional resources, there are also some specific issues related to each of the resources. This course helps in giving a broad overview of what makes a resource unconventional, what are the common elements that influence exploration decisions, drilling and completion decisions, stimulations, and ultimately sustaining the business model. At the same time, it also makes the students aware of the key specifics that relate to each of the unconventional resources especially its evaluation, exploration, drilling, production, and reservoir management.

Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.

This is a 5-year full-time course, which explores the role of international economic law in the contemporary global economy. It provides an overview of the legal foundations of the global economy and the regulatory frameworks governing international trade and investment relations.

The emphasis of the course is upon how international trade economics interacts with domestic investment law and cross-border investment law keeping in view MNC’s as well as other state and non-state actors.

The program equips students with the skills to gain the maximum benefit within the petroleum sector. Industry experts are invited to interact with the students and be part of events to provide their insights and share their experiences. The students learn how to successfully and responsibly market under challenging environments.

This is a domain-specific program that provides students with an understanding of the dynamic business environment of the oil and gas industry. The course allows students to integrate the core marketing concepts with the management concepts of the oil and gas operations sector.
