UPES School of Design’s Under Graduate Programme, B.Des. in Transportation & Mobility Design gives students access to a High-Performance Visualization Lab for real-time 3D visualization of products, Rapid Product Development Lab equipped with Rapid Prototyping, Laser scanner and Laser cutting machines. Students will have proficiency in creating mobility solutions with distinct functions and social impact.

B.Sc. Clinical Research, a three-year full-time undergraduate program, will help in building up a strong foundation towards various clinical and pre-clinical research aspects. The curriculum will include, Pharmacovigilance, Scientific Writing, SAS, Ethics in Clinical Research, design thinking and application of artificial intelligence in Clinical Research thus imparting skills required in this industry.

UPES School of Design’s Postgraduate Programme, M.Des. in Fashion Design prepares young creative designers to become future fashion thinkers, makers and versatile professionals. The programme covers all aspects of the design process, from trend analysis, research and design development, drawing and illustration, colour and fabric development, historical and cultural studies, translation of ideas from 2D to 3D through to presentation, marketing and business development.

Integrated (B.Des) - (M.Des) - (Interaction Design) in Interaction Design trains students to research, analyze, prototype, and design concepts in business, social, and cultural contexts within existing and emerging technologies. Students will gain proficiency in creating engaging user interfaces, ranging from 2D screen (UI for web and mobile) to 3D (AR/VR and will be able to conceptualize user experiences around new and emerging technology, and design to make interfaces more usable, useful and pleasant.

This course specialization provides a comprehensive education in the important aspects of Regulatory and Quality compliance in pharmaceutical industry. Nowadays regulations and ever changing laws are driving demand for pharmaceutical regulatory affair professionals who can help companies successfully bring medical products to the market.

In addition this program also offers Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) applications in Clinical Research to upgrade Medical and Health Science. Introduction to Food Biotechnology lays a solid foundation in all areas of food biotechnology and provides a comprehensive review of the biological and chemical concepts that are important in each discipline. Food Biotechnology is a branch of food science in which modern biotechnological techniques are applied. Food biotechnology is a process scientists use to enhance the production, nutritional value, safety, and taste of foods. It can also benefit the environment by improving crops so that they need fewer pesticides. It covers topics ranging from molecular biology to industrial applications of food biotechnology for the improvement of food and food products. It meets the requirements for careers in the dynamic food sector as well as for research and development. The program focuses on aspects of production, composition and design of food products. Majors: product design & functionality; food innovation and marketing; food biotechnology; and dairy science. The course touches on topics related to food ingredients, fermentations, bioterrorism, FDA regulations, and rapid detection techniques of foodborne pathogens, chemical senses, nutrigenomics and nutraceuticals.
