Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.

The specialisation educates students in regulating and resolving disputes relating to both individual labour laws i.e. the employees’ rights at work and the employment standards as well as the tripartite labour laws i.e. the relationship between the employer, employee, and the union. UPES provides students with an opportunity to complete two seminar papers and a dissertation exclusively in labour laws under the mentorship of the faculty and an industry-based professional.

This is a five-year program that offers domain-specific subjects ranging from Making of the Indian Constitution, Jurisprudential Approach to Constitution to Comparative Federalism, and Legislative Relations. Drawing heavily from the rulings made in the Supreme Court, it is designed to preserve the relationships between state and federal governments and protect the rights of the individual. Furthermore, it enables the students to become better citizens by sensitising them about concepts that are the basis of a civilised society.

Biosimilar is that branch of study which deals with study of drugs that are very similar to original product, but not identical. They are not generic drugs and do not possess the same active pharmaceutical ingredient, yet comparable to original reference drug in terms of quality, safety and efficacy. Biosimilar are alternative potential therapeutics but not generics. For biosimilar products, the manufacturing process requires a high level of monitoring and testing.  

At UPES, B.Tech. Biotechnology students with a specialization in Biosimilar will be made familiar with existing regulations, manufacturing sciences and distribution practices of Biosimilar products in India and all across the globe. Students will learn about controversies associated with Generic drugs and need for development of Biosimilar products. Students will also learn how a drug is discovered in a lab, followed by testing in clinical trials and then launched in market for commercialization.

Regulatory Affairs is a domain with a broad overview and the responsibility for collecting all kinds of data from the development processes and sending it to regulatory authorities. The courses will provide broad perspectives and integrated knowledge to the students from Innovation →Discovery → Approval→ Commercialization which implies regulatory affairs are essential to bring the product to the market globally. This course specialization provides a comprehensive education in the important aspects of Regulatory and Quality compliance in pharmaceutical industry. B.Sc (H) Physics, with specialization in Astronomy and Astrophysics and Computational Physics would be a full time 3-year undergraduate program in Physics. This program is designed for students who not only want to build a sound base in Physics, but also wish to study Astronomy and Astrophysics/Computational Physics. Thus, the students in this program would not only study the conventional modules in Physics at undergraduate level, but would also study modules on Astronomy and Astrophysics/Computational Physics.

Computational Mathematics involves mathematical research in areas of science and engineering where computing plays an essential role. Some topics of study include developing accurate and efficient numerical methods for solving physical or biological models, analysis of numerical approximations to differential and integral equations, developing computational tools to better understand data and structure, etc. 

The course is a concoction of the study of commerce and law. By completing this integrated course, a student can learn about two different professional fields. The specialised law course, in its five-years duration, equips the students with the knowledge of both commerce and legislative regulations as a comprehensive concept.

This is a 5-year integrated law degree program – the first two years of the program focus primarily on arts and the last three on law subjects. The program prepares students for both national as well as international criminal justice systems. It has both classroom teaching as well as practical components like moot courts, law internships, workshops, guest lectures, national and international academic events, legal debates, and interaction with legal luminaries.
