UPES School of Design’s Under Graduate Programme in Game Design revolves around 3D modeling, concept art, script writing and game mechanics. The students explore various game design concepts in workshops and gain an understanding of game design across various platforms and media such as Board, Mobile, PC, Gaming Consoles, AR/ VR and AI.

B.Com (Hons) - E-Commerce Marketing aims to impart business fundamentals that can help e-commerce business grow. It focuses on marketing, digital marketing, accounting, finance, strategy, pricing, and analytics. It also teaches social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, search engine optimization, Google Analytics, Facebook ads, LinkedIn ads, digital advertising, affiliate marketing, influencer marketing, virality, and much more. ?

With increasing population and depleting resources, an engineer must devise sustainable and cost-effective solutions that have a positive impact on the environment and society at large but are also cost-effective. The specialisation will equip students to implement environment-friendly and sustainable solutions in the construction of buildings. Students will gain knowledge of how technological advancements can be employed to achieve better resource utilization.

The course equips students on subjects including Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, and International Financial Management, giving an understanding of the finance division of an organization or for pursuing higher education such as MBA, MS (Finance), FRM, and CFA program. Case studies and practical examples are at the core of this course. Students undertake term projects to apply the theoretical frameworks to business management issues, especially finance.

UPES provides a unique and focused M.Sc. program with specialization in Pharmaceutical  chemistry. The specialization equips students with extensive knowledge allowing them to opt for various careers in academics, industries, research, and commercial fields. Pharmaceutical chemistry involves study of synthesis and analysis of organic molecules which have therapeutic potential. The Laboratory courses are designed to offer comprehensive knowledge and hands on experience on sophisticated techniques. The last semester of the program is dedicated to dissertation work making students aware about the application of concepts on real-life challenges. Students are supervised by experienced and research-oriented faculty members.

Pharmaceutical Chemist expertise in the synthesis, purification, characterization as well as in-silico screening of drug molecules.

It is an important branch of pharmaceutical research as it is major part of drug discovery and development phase. Major courses under pharmaceutical chemistry are organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutical technology, pharmaceutical analysis, quality assurance and good laboratory practices.

In this program, a student learns about the basics food preservation and conservation. In this particular specialization, the Design of food process plant, Food plant location, Food plant layout, requirements like water supply, Electricity supply, clean environment and location, Contraction material used, Waste management, cleaning and sanitisation are main course content. The equipment used during food processing, packaging requirement, utensils, standards related to material used in construction of food processing equipment’s, standardisation of food process, arrangements of equipment’s in best possible way.  The food processing Industry visit carried out for practical knowledge.  Food Industry Trainings are also carried out. Scope and importance of food plant engineering, Processing methods and their requirements, Preservation by drying, Preservation by low temperature, heat treatments, and Food conversion operation. In this a student learns about various techniques and procedures involved in food packaging. This subject helps a student to understand the importance of processing of various kinds of food products. This course covers both practical and theoretical aspects of food industry.

M.Sc is a two-year postgraduate program in Pharmacology and Toxicology that provides broad, multidisciplinary training that enables our students to pursue careers in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries as well as in academic and government research laboratories. The program offers the following specializations:

• Applied Clinical Pharmacology
• Molecular and Biochemical Toxicology

Integrated B.Sc.- M.Sc. (Physics) with specialization in Material Science aims to equip students both with the fundamental as well as advanced concepts in Physics as well as hands on training in synthesis and characterization of novel materials - finding applications in domains including but not limited to health, sanitation, defense, clean energy harvesting (solar cells, fuel cells, hydrogen storage, etc.), aerospace, semiconductors industry, etc. Students will also have opportunity to learn computational materials science, in which they will be equipped with various simulation software /techniques and numerical algorithms to simulate materials via computers. The students enrolling for this program will have opportunity to work with faculty members having exceptional academic and research credentials in theoretical and experimental materials science. Students will also have access to the state-of-the art material synthesis and characterization instruments installed in the campus. 

The Integrated (B.Des) - (M.Des) - in Product Design lays emphasis on a process-centric approach of participation and teamwork to shape the students’ education. The curriculum is designed in a way that gradually increases in complexity levels and covers broad areas that product designers will come across in their professional careers. Collaborative projects with industrial houses, social sector, government and multinational companies are a part of the education process.
