Pharmaceutical Biotechnology can be defined as that branch of study which applies principles of biotechnology in development of therapeutics. This is one of the fastest growing areas in the pharma sector. Development of diagnostics as a point of care using pharmaceutical Biotechnology is widespread in todays’ world. Common biopharmaceutical products include proteins, antibodies, aptamers, recombinant DNA products, gene therapy, engineered enzyme, etc.  Pharmaceutical biotechnology companies develop tailor-made medicine for maximum therapeutic effects. A majority of therapeutic drugs in the current market are pharmaceutical application biotechnology principles such as antibodies, nucleic acid products and vaccines.

This course covers framework for integrated planning of businesses and supply chain strategy. The focus is on strategic alternatives for logistics and supply chain like alignment, agility, and adaptability. Further, strategic alternatives like efficient and responsive supply chains, speculative and postponement strategy are studied in detail. Also, customer specific performance metrics of supply chains like fill rate and on time delivery are studied.

IT Infrastructure work with a combination of three components, Hardware, Software, and Networking. This course provides both theoretical and practical knowledge of OS Management, Cloud Management, Virtualization Management, IT Operation Management, Configuration Management, API Management, Risk Management, Cyber Security, Customer Relationship Management, and many more. Introduction to Food Biotechnology lays a solid foundation in all areas of food biotechnology and provides a comprehensive review of the biological and chemical concepts that are important in each discipline. Food Biotechnology is a branch of food science in which modern biotechnological techniques are applied. Food biotechnology is a process scientists use to enhance the production, nutritional value, safety, and taste of foods. It can also benefit the environment by improving crops so that they need fewer pesticides. It covers topics ranging from molecular biology to industrial applications of food biotechnology for the improvement of food and food products. It meets the requirements for careers in the dynamic food sector as well as for research and development. The program focuses on aspects of production, composition and design of food products. Majors: product design & functionality; food innovation and marketing; food biotechnology; and dairy science. The course touches on topics related to food ingredients, fermentations, bioterrorism, FDA regulations, and rapid detection techniques of foodborne pathogens, chemical senses, nutrigenomics and nutraceuticals.

Master of Technology in Chemical Engineering with Specialization In Process Automation is an industry-oriented program training the students in chemical process automation. The students will be provided hands-on training and skills ins process automation, Advanced process control, process optimization etc., which will make them industry ready.

M.Sc. with specialization of nutrition and dietetics is two year master program, which covers all theory and practical courses of nutrition and dietetics.  This program enable the students to learn the methods of assessing human nutritional requirements, nutritional assessment and diet planning.
