The M.Tech. Program in Energy Systems and Sustainability provides scope for engineering innovators / entrepreneurs with a mission to develop sustainable energy systems and solutions for the future. Program delivery is intended by aligning the content as per the industry working methodology. This program offers the blend of placement opportunities in various verticals of Energy and Sustainability Engineering to work as an Energy Specialist, Energy Consultant, Project Manager, Lead Energy Auditor (ISO-50001 global level), Sustainability Manager etc.

Learners will have the opportunity to gain the knowledge in Energy, Sustainability, Green Buildings, Project and Financial Management, Smart and Micro Grid, e-Vehicle & Energy Storage, Thermal Utilities performance, Sustainable Habitat, Performance Analysis of Electrical Equipment’s, Climate change & Sustainability, Process Optimization etc. Students has the opportunity to work in Funded research projects and consultancy projects from Government  and other funding agencies with wide opportunity to go for higher studies under student exchange program. The Specialization Sustainable Development explores systems that protect the environment while increasing socio economic growth.

B.Sc. Clinical Research, a three-year full-time undergraduate program, will help in building up a strong foundation towards various clinical and pre-clinical research aspects. The curriculum will include, Pharmacovigilance, Scientific Writing, SAS, Ethics in Clinical Research, design thinking and application of artificial intelligence in Clinical Research thus imparting skills required in this industry.

UPES provides a unique and focused M.Sc. program with specialization in Organic chemistry. The specialization equips students with extensive knowledge allowing them to opt for various careers in academics, industries and research fields. M.Sc. Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry will help the students to understand the chemical synthesis of various chemicals, products and polymers The plethora of research area among the faculty members provides an understanding of different future oriented aspects of chemistry.  The Laboratory courses are designed to offer comprehensive knowledge and hands on experience on sophisticated techniques. The last semester of the program is dedicated to dissertation work making students aware about the application of concepts on real-life challenges. Students are supervised by experienced and research-oriented faculty members.

The curriculum is designed to give exposure not only about the subject, but also research ethics, communication, and skill augmentation. The completion of the course ensures deep knowledge with wide exposure, intellectual development, and ethical awareness that make students ready for various professional research, industrial and academic opportunities.

Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.

This is a five-year program that offers domain-specific subjects ranging from Making of the Indian Constitution, Jurisprudential Approach to Constitution to Comparative Federalism, and Legislative Relations. Drawing heavily from the rulings made in the Supreme Court, it is designed to preserve the relationships between state and federal governments and protect the rights of the individual. Furthermore, it enables the students to become better citizens by sensitising them about concepts that are the basis of a civilised society.

B. Tech. Chemical Engineering Spl in Refining and Petrochemicals is a specialization running since 2010 and has been accredited by NBA in 2019. This program enables students to have in-depth knowledge regarding the oil, gas, chemical, and the petrochemical sector, with major future prospects in industries like Exxon Mobil, Halliburton, Shell, Reliance, Phillips Carbon Black Ltd., Dr. Reddy’s Lab, etc. The program deals with courses like Petroleum refining technology, Petrochemical process technology, Catalyst design and catalysis, Chemical Industry 4.0 etc. which prepares the student to be ready for any oil and gas industry. We have our student alumni with this degree doing extremely well in both PSUs like Indian Oil Corporation Limited and also private sector like Exxon Mobil, Halliburton, Shell, Reliance etc.

The course is a concoction of the study of commerce and law. By completing this integrated course, a student can learn about two different professional fields. The specialised law course, in its five-years duration, equips the students with the knowledge of both commerce and legislative regulations as a comprehensive concept.

This course has been designed to examine the interactions between food production and consumption, health, and environment through environmental and food justice lenses. Building on concepts developed in food systems, it explores topics such as public health disparities and their structural causes, environmental toxins in the food system and their impact on workers and consumers, as well as policies that have or could affect these outcomes, in both historical and contemporary contexts.

Apart from conceptual discussion and debates, the program also includes field trips and/or guest lectures to give practical experience to the learners.

PhD Energy Management is the highest academic degree awarded in the study of Energy Management.

PhD in Electronics Engineering is the highest academic degree awarded in the study of Electronics Engineering.

This program induces the thinking skills for the development of mobile applications at all enterprise segments. It also inculcates the transformation of industries and related organisations adapting to the “App Revolution” and initiated the incorporation towards bridging the latest technology and industry requirements.

Medical law is the branch of law, which concerns the prerogatives and responsibilities of medical professionals and the rights of the patient. It is not the same as medical jurisprudence, which is a branch of medicine, rather than a branch of law.

This course has been designed to include all fundamental and advanced concepts of health and medical law at the national and global level to make learners well-versed with the developments in medical field, health sector, and their legal aspects.
