The MPA will advance your understanding of accounting from a strategic business perspective and provide the financial expertise needed for senior management roles. Roles may include chartered accountant, management accountant, chief financial officer, finance manager, forensic accountant, business consultant, tax specialist or a role in senior management.

Explore advanced level topics in economics and research an area of your interest with the Economics specialisation in the Master of Business.

You'll work collaboratively with your peers and with academic staff who have been involved in applied research projects for government agencies around the world and international agencies like the IMF. The AUT School of Economics conducts research in a range of areas, including the effects of international trading arrangements, optimal regulation of labour and other markets, and the use of big data in social programes.
