The Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with the Ethics emphasis trains students to approach philosophical exploration with the rigor of analytic thinking, which goes beyond casual discussions based on opinion. Philosophy majors critically examine questions such as, ""How can I know for sure if what I believe is true?"" ""What sort of society is best?"" or ""Is morality whatever society says it is?"" In scrutinizing potential answers, students hone the skills of critical thinking, problem-solving, conceptual analysis and argumentation. Mexican American Studies examines the Mexican American experience as informed by social and health sciences, history, law and humanities. Current U.S. demographic trends show that Mexican Americans live and work in the Southwest, the Midwest and the South, and many of these communities need people who are knowledgeable about the challenges and trajectories of Mexican Americans. Students earning a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts receive a broad-based education of the theatrical arts. Students learn to appreciate the relationship of dramatic text to theatrical production; understand the working practices and standards of the professional theatre; communicate artistic intent through acting, directing, design and research; and learn how to organize resources to facilitate the theatrical production process. Coursework stresses critical thinking in verbal and written communication; employs theatre as a lens through which to examine cultural trends; encourages students to develop projects that merge theory and practical applications; and explores the vitality of theatre as a communal expression of gender and cultural diversity.

Be on the forefront of advancements in the agricultural industry - from horticultural management and crop production to animal agriculture. Agriculture has evolved from hand hoes and sickles to today's tools: drones, crop sensors and drought-resistant plants. Students who select the Agricultural Technology Management emphasis of the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Technology Management and Education specialize in one of six areas: controlled environment agriculture, field crop production and management, information systems, horticulture management, turf grass management or animal agriculture. The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre gives students the preparation they need for a professional career in the theatre industry, thanks to the program's rigorous core curriculum in acting, voice, movement and performance. Coursework includes Stanislavsky-based acting training; voice and movement studio work; private voice lessons; general voice classes; performance classes in various styles and genres; dance fundamentals; and professional development and business strategies. Students enjoy numerous opportunities to perform, including onstage, in film and through the Arizona Repertory Theatre and the Arizona Theatre Company.

The Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry uses chemistry as a tool to examine the molecular processes of life. Biochemistry is at the core of life sciences, and biochemical knowledge provides the underpinning for a variety of disciplines, from medicine to agriculture to engineering. In this program, students take coursework from award-winning faculty whose research and expertise include diverse specialties: protein structure and function, molecular genetics, medicinal biochemistry, optics, physics and more.
