If you're interested in tackling big-picture issues and policy when it comes to health concerns, consider the Public Health major's Health Systems Theory and Practice emphasis. Corporations, organizations, governments and communities need public health leaders to focus on planning, management and administration. The University of Arizona's Bachelor of Science with a major in Public Health is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health. The Health Systems Theory and Practice emphasis is one of several concentrations within the major. Immerse yourself in the Spanish language while learning various cultures through the ages via Hispanic the Literature emphasis. Students seeking their Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a Hispanic Literature emphasis will take language courses in both Spanish and Portuguese while studying Hispanic literature. Outside of the classroom, students hone their Spanish language conversation skills in Spanish Club or their Portuguese-speaking skills in Bate Papo. Various study abroad programs through the University of Arizona provide Spanish majors the opportunity for additional language and cultural immersion, adding to their undergraduate experience.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Production with an emphasis in Design and Technical Production offers comprehensive training for students who seek careers in the professional theatre. This training includes a balance of academic study of theatre and practical production experience in one or more of three performance spaces. Students select from seven areas of focus: costume design, costume production, lighting design and production, stage management, sound design, scenic design, and technical direction. Classes provide hands-on, real-world, practical application of skills through onstage productions throughout the duration of the program. Students study with acclaimed faculty members who are actively working professionally in the field.

The Animal Sciences Bachelor of Science offers an Equine emphasis. Equine science is the study of horses and their care. During this program, students acquire practical, hands-on equine handling techniques; learn about equine nutrition, physiology and anatomy; and develop business strategy skills. Students who select the Bachelor of Science in Geosciences with an Earth, Oceans and Climate (EOC) emphasis are immersed in an interdisciplinary approach to the study of the planet. Students gain an understanding of the history of Earth's climate, global change, ocean science and modern climate dynamics. They learn scientific research skills and work with data and technology in the field and in the laboratory. EOC students participate in hands-on capstone research or field experience, typically in the latter part of their program.
