Examine the humanistic and scientific perspectives of politics a field of study designed to help you embark on a career to help change the world. Political science is the study of government, public policy and the political behavior of individuals and groups. The Bachelor of Arts in Political Science program helps students cultivate clear and strong communication skills (writing, argumentation and presentation) as well as analytical abilities. Students examine the foundations of political science: theory, processes, principles, institutions, law, policy, international relations, foreign affairs, and ideas and methods. Students are encouraged to pursue opportunities outside of the classroom, such as internships at nonprofit organizations and government agencies, including the Arizona Legislature, the Arizona Superior Court and politicians' campaigns.

The Bachelor of Science in Anthropology with an emphasis in Archaeological Sciences introduces students to the rigorous study of archaeological data. The Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science equips students to design, implement and test programs that solve significant and meaningful problems. Students learn how to collaborate to develop large software systems and can explain the purpose, design and implementation of programs. Graduates are able to design and analyze algorithms and can evaluate the correctness and performance of computer programs. To earn this B.A., students must start as Pre-computer Science majors and complete a core set of classes. No application is required to progress from Pre-computer Science to Computer Science. The B.A. curriculum requires students to study a second language proficiency and take natural science courses.

Students can audition for the Harp Studio, which offers weekly private lessons, a studio class, the study of harp pedagogy, orchestral coaching, mock auditions and master classes with guest artists. Students who select the Agricultural Technology Management emphasis of the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Technology Management and Education specialize in one of six areas: controlled environment agriculture, field crop production and management, information systems, horticulture management, turf grass management or animal agriculture.
