If you have a strong drive and entrepreneurial spirit, set your aspirations on the highly lauded, one-year New Venture Development Program.  Students wishing to add a second major to another course of study at the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management have the option of applying to the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Entrepreneurship. The New Venture Development Program at the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship offers selected students a one-year immersion curriculum during their senior year. In collaboration with their peers and with entrepreneurs serving as mentors, students build a new venture from the ground up and hone their entrepreneurial and business leadership skill set in the process. Ranked in the nation's top 10 programs, the B.S.B.A. in Entrepreneurship is highly selective, and accepted students graduate with a competitive edge.

Transform theory into action with a degree that offers real-world guidance on how to effect change and lead policy. Political science is the study of government, public policy and the political behavior of individuals and groups. In the Bachelor of Arts in Political Science program with a Law and Public Policy emphasis, students prepare for a career as a change-maker in law, as a government official as they study not only the foundations of political theory, institutions, international relations, foreign affairs and more, but also the how-to of making policy and progress happen. Students develop powerful analytical, argumentation and communication skills, and have access to internships at nonprofit organizations and government agencies, such as the Arizona Legislature and the Arizona Superior Court, and local and state politicians' campaigns.

Learn to solve the business problems of the future in the Applied Humanities' Business Administration emphasis. Combining the fundamental concepts of business administration and entrepreneurial leadership with the collaborative, global, intercultural, and future-oriented practices of the humanities, this emphasis-capped with a public or private internship-prepares you for working in emerging fields connected to national and international business administration.

Join the new green economy with an in-depth look at sustainable land development and real estate finance. Teaching students how to conceptualize and manage sustainable and responsible real estate development is a critical objective of the Sustainable Real Estate Development Emphasis of the Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Built Environments program. Coursework focuses on sustainable practices, urban design, real estate finance, site development and construction. Students learn practical business skills such as accounting, marketing and economics. The faculty are leaders in the real estate development field and their interdisciplinary approach to this program features collaborative learning environments that build skills in innovative thought, creativity, problem-solving and teamwork.

Are you a leader with a knack for business? Master the art and science of working with people and leading in a business world that hinges on strategy and decision-making with a Business Management major. The Business Management major at the University of Arizona is designed for students seeking managerial positions in large or small organizations. Students learn how to work with people in the areas of  hiring, training and coordinating. They also develop the foundation for becoming a manager of a business or organizational unit. Students seeking their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Business Management must complete the Pre-Business curriculum to earn professional admissions status to the University of Arizona's esteemed Eller College of Business Management. Business Management majors with an interest in working in sports can choose the Sports Management minor or certificate program.

Work with internationally renowned Latin American scholars on critical topics facing these communities, such as gender issues, health at the border and environmental concerns. This program delves into the languages, cultures, history and politics of Latin America. The Bachelor of Arts emphasizes community engagement, foreign language acquisition and international relations. This degree pairs well as a second major to almost any other degree program at the University of Arizona, from business and public health to journalism and food studies. Students are encouraged to study abroad in Mexico, Central America, South America or the Hispanic Caribbean, as well as participate in internships at organizations like the Coalition for Human Rights, Barrio Stories and the National Law Center for Inter-American Free Trade.

The world has thousands of languages. Study linguistics to understand the root of all language: human connection and communication. Linguistics is concerned with the nature of language and communication. Particularly, how humans learn language and how language influences the ways people interact and think about the world. In the Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics with an emphasis in Linguistics and Languages, students acquire an understanding of how language is structured in phonology, morphology, syntax both in a general sense and regarding specific languages. Students also learn how languages vary and discover the unconscious knowledge that all humans possess about language. The renowned faculty includes preeminent linguist Noam Chomsky, as well as experts in language documentation and revitalization, especially for Native American languages.
