The Master of Actuarial Studies (Extension) equips you with the data analytics and quantitative risk management training for success in an actuarial career, or a career in finance.

The extension program adds four courses to the Master of Actuarial Studies. This allows you to complete the professionally accredited courses to become an actuary, as well as to broaden your knowledge through electives in actuarial studies, risk management, business, or options in mathematics and in computer science. The program is accredited by the Actuaries Institute.

The program has also earned the University-Earned Credit (UEC) program status for Financial Mathematics (FM) exam and Statistics for Risk Modelling (SRM) exam. This UEC program facilitates the pathway for students who pursue the Society of Actuaries (SOA) profession by providing opportunities to earn credit for SOA exams.

You’ll learn to apply advanced analytical techniques, deliver highly valued data analytics, and actionable insights. You’ll also develop a specialist quantitative skill set in actuarial models, financial mathematics, probability, machine learning / artificial intelligence analytics, and commerce.

The AGSM Master of Business Administration (Executive), is a part-time national program designed for ambitious and experienced managers, executives, and professionals eager to take their career to the next level. The MBAE is a flexible program that lets you pursue a professional interest area in dynamic study modes including weekly, intensive, and online classes.

This program is unique in its focus on intensive and residential cohort experiences that provide extensive opportunities for group learning and developing peer professional networks. AGSM MBAE  courses are designed by academics and delivered and facilitated by industry experts. The national program runs classes in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, and Perth, allowing students to stay on top of their study when they are travelling interstate for work. There are options to take online courses that let you plan your study around your other commitments.

This exciting degree focuses on the science and practice of air and space flight; the design, development, testing and production of aerospace vehicles; the maintenance and operation of aircraft; and aerospace research. To accommodate the international nature of the aerospace industry, you will receive the same depth of understanding as professional aerospace training programs in other industrial countries.

Our Aerospace Engineering degree focuses on airborne vehicles to meet future employment prospects in Australia (like aerodynamics, flight mechanics, propulsion and structures). Mining engineering develops and executes the processes used to extract minerals from below and above ground. As a mining engineer you’ll work in the planning and management of engineering the extraction of mineral, petroleum and gas resources from the earth.  Mining Engineers evaluate, plan and oversee the construction of a mine. They’re involved in a project through all phases of mining operations.

This degree is designed for mining engineering graduates and minerals industry professionals who want to continue their professional development. In this degree you’ll learn the fundamentals of mining engineering, mining processes, systems and analysis, and risk and safety management, as well as undertaking a research project in the mining industry.
