The Diploma in Musical Theatre at Capilano University is a three year long baccalaureate program that is exclusively designed for the students who wish to take up performing arts as a career option. Students will refine performance skills in acting, singing, dancing, screen acting, audition techniques, voice-over and learn the business side of the profession.

Capilano University has a comprehensive program for international students called Early Childhood Care & Education Pathway which spans over a period of 1 year. This program is designed as a result of collaboration between English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) program. This program is specially designed for students who study at the top two levels of the EAP program. 

This program is exclusively designed for international students in order to work with their English speaking skills and help them gain credentials. The Pathway program allows students to begin getting credit for an ECCE credential which is beneficial when they wish to take up further post-secondary education. Upon successful completion of the Pathway Program, you will have earned 9 credits you can apply toward your ECCE credential.

The eight-month Accounting Assistant Certificate program trains students in accounting, bookkeeping, computer applications and office procedures; and prepares students for the workplace.

You'll also participate in a 2-week work practicum with a local company.

The Associate of Arts degree in Creative Writing is a two year long baccalaureate program which deals with contemporary literature, creative writing, reading, understanding basic writing concepts and many more. The Human Kinetics program provides students with a two-year, four-semester program of study. The program is based on a core of university transfer courses that allow students the option of transferring into Bachelor degree programs in Physical Education, Kinesiology or Human Kinetics at Capilano University or other post-secondary institutions.

Associate of Arts Degree consist of a total of 60 university credits with a total of 18 credits in the first and second year English.
