This two-year diploma program focuses on business fundamentals with strong experiential learning components. Graduate with the operations experience and business acumen to manage and operate a successful golf or recreational club, while also learning about club sports with a focus on golf.

Apply your knowledge in a co-op work experience with professionals within golf course management. You’ll gain further employable skills in food and beverage service and culinary management on-campus through The Chef’s Table restaurant and cafe.

This tailor-made co-operative education program allows applicants the opportunity to explore the numerous career opportunities available in the ever growing golf and club industry. Inspired by the Canadian Society of Club Managers (CSCM), this program fosters the core educational competencies required to excel in a career in club management.  Students will develop expertise in business and financial management, golf club and turf services and food and beverage operations with a hospitality focus. Theoretical studies will be supported by practical exposure in all areas of golf and club facilities. Students will gain an appreciation for proactive customer service and the relation to business development. Upon graduation, students are prepared to get their Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation.

The Aviation Technology - Aircraft Maintenance and Avionics Advanced Diploma is a Transport Canada approved program (TC-2018-02-4248) that provides students with the knowledge and skills required to start a career in aircraft maintenance and/or aircraft avionics maintenance. This program will cover all aspects of aircraft maintenance including systems used in general aviation, corporate, and charter transport category aircraft as well as helicopters. The program will also include avionics training for service, repair, and maintenance of aircraft electrical and electronic systems such as communication, navigation, and data systems.

Fanshawe College's Law Clerk (Co-op) program is designed to provide students with a solid grounding in legal principles combined with the practical law clerk training that students will need to enter the diverse, fast-paced modern field of law. As a graduate of the Law Clerk program you will work as part of a team in law firms, corporate legal departments, financial institutions, insurance companies, legal technology providers, title insurance companies, Federal, Provincial and Municipal Governments or in any other capacity where a legal environment exists. Depending upon your choice of career path, you could find yourself preparing motion records and trial documentation, interviewing witnesses, arranging trial dates and adjournments, drafting corporate/commercial documentation, completing Family Law Act financial statements, administering estates, negotiating leases, administering contracts, completing legal research, searching titles or processing real estate transactions. In order to be eligible for co-op, students must maintain a 2.5 GPA and be academically complete at the commencement of their co-op work term.
