This two-year professional program is designed to provide students with extensive practical understanding and knowledge to perform administrative support in a wide variety of medical environments.  The focus will be on medical terminology and transcription, medical billing, patient management, medical office procedures, medical ethics and research.  The emphasis will be on interpersonal, communication, organizational, technical, and problem-solving skills applied to enhance the effective operation of the medical environment.

Expert training in computerized medical records systems, billing systems and other office equipment technology applications will be combined with analytical and multitasking strategies to facilitate scheduling, decision making, co-ordination and task completion.  Utilizing these skills, students will be capable of overseeing a variety of medical office environments.  Researching, developing, and presenting accurate medical documentation, correspondence and reports will be emphasized.

A four-week medical office environment workplace component will provide the student with practical, hands-on experience and the opportunity to apply the theories and concepts learned in the Office Administration - Health Services program classroom.  The importance of professional ethics, privacy and confidentiality will be highlighted throughout the program.

• Use interpersonal and client service skills to respond to the diverse needs of clients, their family members and the health care team.
• Identify and use non-invasive clinical tasks to support effective and efficient health service operations.

This multidisciplinary program shall expose students to aspects of electromechanical systems. Traditionally, similar programs of study have been found in the electrical/electronic disciplines. Graduates from these programs will also gain knowledge of the mechanical aspects of a system, such as the ability to read mechanical prints, understand tolerances, as well as understand the mechanical nuances of a system.

This program will expose students to both electrical and mechanical principles, allowing graduates from the program to be capable of analyzing, modifying, maintaining and repairing electromechanical systems. As such, the focus of the program shall be concurrent engineering with respect to products and processes. Students shall also be exposed to project management and quality systems. The program will culminate in a 15-week capstone project course where students shall be able to apply their knowledge and document it according to current industry practice.

Co-operative Education
In order to be eligible for co-op, students must maintain a 2.0 GPA and be academically complete at the commencement of their co-op work term.
This is a two-year Co-operative Education program delivered over three years due to the co-op pattern. Students who fulfill both the academic and co-op requirements of the program will be eligible to graduate with a Co-op Endorsed Diploma. Construction Engineering Technology is a two-year diploma for students interested in overseeing the construction of residential, industrial and commercial projects. Students will learn to estimate project costs, develop a construction plan, schedule projects, and perform on-site inspections using the latest technology. Graduates will be prepared for their career by learning soft skills required to be an effective leader.

Auto Body Repair Techniques is a one-year Ontario College Certificate program that prepares graduates to enter the auto body repair field. The curriculum focuses on the practical skills used by entry-level auto body repairers: welding, refinishing, and body and frame repair. Students also learn how to assess vehicle damage and develop repair estimates.

• Under appropriate supervision, repair and refinish damage to automotive bodies and frames, and inspect and repair vehicle safety devices.
• Under appropriate supervision, use diagnostic equipment and basic repair techniques to service automotive power train, tires and rims, fuel and electrical systems, and heating, air conditioning and cooling systems.
• Repair rust on vehicles and apply corrosion protection where appropriate.
• Access information to remain current with advanced trade techniques in auto body repair.
• Assess vehicle damage and provide repair estimates to clients.
• Perform basic auto body business accounting to calculate inventory, damage and repair estimates.

This graduate certificate program teaches students to leverage sports and events as an all-encompassing marketing communication medium. While the courses focus on sport as the learning catalyst, the skills learned also apply to other sectors such as arts, entertainment and non-profit, broadening the employment landscape for business and marketing students. Students will benefit from courses that include advanced and management level skills in the Sport and Event Marketing and Management world. Digital platforms ensure students use the latest in forms and tools.

This program blends theory with hands-on application of theoretical principles delivered through course work and field practicum.  Students in this program will develop their knowledge and professional skills in areas such as child development and best practices in early childhood; the early childhood educator's role and responsibilities; the importance of play in children's learning; family involvement and curriculum design and implementation.
When the student graduates they will have the knowledge and necessary skills to work with children, families and community in the context of early learning and development programs for children from birth to age twelve. The student will be prepared to work in a variety of settings, including child care centres, early learning and family centres, Best Start programs, before and after school programs and with school boards.

The Aviation Technician - Avionics Maintenance program is a Transport Canada approved program (TC-2011-08-4128) that provides the knowledge and skills required to start a career in aircraft avionics maintenance, which is responsible for servicing, repair and maintenance of aircraft electrical and electronics systems such as communication, navigation and data systems. This program covers all aspects of aircraft avionics systems used in general aviation, corporate, charter transport category aircraft and helicopters.

Digital Communication Management is a two-semester Ontario College Graduate Certificate program that is intended to prepare students to deliver messages in today's increasingly connected media environment. It is designed for students who want to expand their skills in the production and management of social media, media communications, video and audio production, photography, web and digital design.

Graduates will be able to leverage these skills in content strategy and curation, as well as user experience and design to develop significant opportunities for employment in almost any sector that wishes to engage or educate an audience.

This program emphasizes the dynamic role of the Doula within communities to prepare graduates for a rewarding career collaborating with health care teams to honour and advocate for expectant families throughout the full spectrum of their reproductive journey. The curriculum captures the specialized evidence-informed knowledge, skills, and experience relating to anatomy, physiology, and the emotional, physical, and cultural aspects of pregnancy and birth required by Doulas to provide families with information and support during pregnancy, childbirth, newborn care, and including loss. In addition, students are introduced to business management/entrepreneurship concepts and strategies, including business ethics, contracts, marketing and sales techniques, and personal financial management.

• Assist with the delivery of family-centred maternity care in collaboration with members of the health care team.
• Examine the historical, political, and cultural aspects of the provision of maternity care both locally and globally and identify how they shape the experiences of contemporary mothering to meet the needs of clients.
• Apply knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of a woman during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum to address the concerns and needs of clients.
•  Provide evidence-informed physical, emotional, physiological, and psychosexual support to enhance the comfort, health, and well-being of individuals and families as they negotiate the various transitions associated with pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
• Provide families with community and online resources related to the childbearing years to empower clients to make evidence-informed choices regarding pregnancy and birth options and newborn care, including infant and newborn nutrition.
• Describe diagnostic testing procedures and medical interventions routinely used during pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postpartum period, and recognize the normal ranges and parameters for those test results.
• Identify early signs of maternal physical and mental health concerns, and refer clients to appropriate community resources in a timely manner.
• Foster professional relationships with clients, family members, caregivers, and other doulas.
• Establish and maintain a professional doula business in accordance with professional, legal, and ethical guidelines.

The Interactive Media Design program will professionally prepare students for an evolving job market in digital media design, development and production, providing comprehensive training in new media technologies with an emphasis on web application design, interactive rich media, and current technologies for developing usable, media-rich sites and applications. The curriculum will combine courses in design, coding, marketing and media management and incorporate industry-standard tools from companies such as Adobe, Maxon, etc., as well as open-source technologies for web application development.
