The Developmental Services Worker two-year diploma program prepares its graduates to support people with developmental disabilities so that these individuals may participate fully in their communities. DSW have the specialized knowledge and skills required to work with people with developmental disabilities across the life span.

Inherent to the role of a DSW is an ability to collaborate and build relationships with people with developmental disabilities and their families and to work with colleagues and members of inter-professional teams to facilitate a seamless network of support for people.

Courses focus on disabilities, person directed supports, inclusion and community resources, dual diagnosis, interpersonal skills, counselling, health, pharmacology, development, teaching and intervention strategies. Field placements in community agencies and/or schools are part of the curriculum.

The Supply Chain Management - Logistics (Co-op) program will satisfy all of your managerial ambitions within this field. This one-year graduate certificate is designed for university and college graduates looking for a career in the logistics and supply chain sector. You'll be trained to join private or public sectors, learning how to analyze on computer software, while nurturing your negotiating skills. Examining managerial accounting, and professional communication, you will also learn the finer points of material sourcing, distribution management and risk assessment. When you graduate, you'll have the skills to improve an organization's operations and profitability. You'll be in demand with career options in procurement, logistics, planning, inventory management, transportation, customer service, customs coordination and related supply chain processes.

Construction Engineering Technology is a two-year diploma for students interested in overseeing the construction of residential, industrial and commercial projects. Students will learn to estimate project costs, develop a construction plan, schedule projects, and perform on-site inspections using the latest technology. Graduates will be prepared for their career by learning soft skills required to be an effective leader.

The Fitness and Health Promotion program prepares graduates to perform the roles and responsibilities of a fitness consultant and personal trainer. Fanshawe College’s Fitness and Health Promotion Faculty team consists of highly educated industry specialists, with both knowledge and experience in exercise program design, exercise prescription, fitness and health assessment, behaviour change, fitness marketing and sales, business ownership, sports and universal nutrition, as well as individual and population-based health promotion.

Interior Decorating is a two-year Ontario College Diploma program designed to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for a career in one of the many segments of the residential interior decorating field. Students will study the fundamentals of interior decorating, including space planning, colour theory, material selection, kitchen and bath design and visual merchandising. Students will build interpersonal, communication, sales, business and marketing skills. Drawing, presentation and drafting techniques (both manual and computer-aided) will be developed. Courses are delivered in lecture, studio and lab formats; the hands-on studio environment allows the student to work on 2D and 3D projects in close contact with their professor. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be equipped with the essential skills necessary to pursue employment and carry on their development as a professional in the decorating field.

Fanshawe is the only college to work with Google, the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization and WordTracker, which gives you unique opportunities to develop search engine marketing skills and conduct real search engine marketing campaigns on the Internet. You'll graduate with superior analytical, decision-making, and communication skills, and be ready for a successful career in sales, marketing research, advertising and promotion, event planning, direct marketing, digital marketing, marketing analytics, promotions management, brand management, public relations, and/or media sales.

In the program, you'll dig deep into marketing's role in driving value for business via both web-based and face-to-face strategies you will learn by being exposed to real life business issues. You'll be mentored to manage, develop and justifying marketing strategies, and presenting your creative ideas to your peers and to real business clients.

In-class students can also apply for the opportunity to further develop their marketing consulting skills, with the option of substituting two courses for the intensive community consultancy program, working with real business live clients.

Business - Supply Chain and Operations is a two-year Ontario College Diploma program. The curriculum covers theory and application of supply chain management in private and public sector environments. Specifically, courses address material sourcing, transportation methods, inventory, retail management, negotiation skills and analytical techniques. Students also enhance their computer skills and their business communication skills. The program aligns to the curriculum of various professional associations in supply chain management. Graduates, equipped with the skills required to improve an organization's profitability and operations, are in high demand in both the private and public sector.

• The Business - Supply Chain and Operations program shares a common first level with all business diploma programs in the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business, which allows for program transfer, with no loss of credit, after Level 1.
• Students entering Level 1 of the program in January are expected to proceed into Level 2 of the program in the summer term.  Students entering Level 1 of the program in February or May will proceed to Level 2 of the program in September.
• Graduates may be eligible for admission to the following Graduate Certificate programs in the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business: Agri-Business Management, Human Resources Management, International Business Management, Marketing Management, Operations Management, Professional Financial Services, or Project Management. Graduate Certificate programs deliver a specialized professional curriculum in two four-month levels.
• This program is eligible for consideration of college to college transfer of credits under the Ontario Provincial ONCAT agreement.
• Students who graduate from this program with a GPA of 3.0 or greater are eligible to receive Advanced Standing towards their Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) designation (4 modules and 2 workshops). 
• Articulation agreements exist with the Supply Chain Canada which provides advanced standing in the Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) designation program.
• Students may become members of the Fanshawe College APICS student chapter.

The Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Management) Degree program is designed to provide students with a well-rounded education in business management. The curriculum emphasizes that organizational success is achieved through effective leadership and is driven by people in all areas and departments within an organization. This four-year honours level degree includes a mandatory paid co-op work term between Levels 7 and 8 and is aligned with the Canadian Institute of Management professional program. Cross-functional courses combined with applications in sustainable business practices and effective ethical leadership from the local, national and global perspective will prepare graduates for a wide range of employment opportunities.

This two-year conservatory program will give you practical experience in acting for the stage, mask work, play analysis, improv, and acting for the camera. You'll also take other specialized master classes and will work with professional artists on a graduating project that will come together as a professional production.

You'll be guided through a process of discovering a method of acting that brings out your full potential and you'll emerge with a deep understanding of Shakespeare, theatre history, movement for actors, and the business of acting. You'll emerge with a strong foundation for launching your professional career.

The professional faculty, including Registered Massage Therapists, medical professionals and seasoned professors will provide students with a high calibre experience. Students will learn, first hand, that the practice of massage therapy is the "assessment of the soft tissue and joints of the body and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissues and joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function, or relieve pain," as according to The Massage Therapy Act of Ontario. The Massage Therapy program at Fanshawe College is both challenging and rewarding. Through this program, you can acquire more than the core knowledge and skills required to succeed as a massage therapist.

Theory and practice are integral to the program, and students will be exposed to directly learning the skills of a Massage Therapist in the first level. Individual attention is spent by the faculty to ensure you achieve the utmost from your education. Many adjunct therapies to the Massage Therapist will be studied, including: sport massage, clinical massage, pregnancy massage; to name a few.

Successful students will be recommended to the CMTO for their entry exams to the profession. The faculty at Fanshawe College will provide every measure to ensure you receive the greatest preparatory education to take these exams with confidence.
