Students in this program prepare to work with engineers and construction project managers as part of a team constructing roads, bridges, sewers, water mains, and other infrastructure. Students determine data for cost estimation, perform materials testing, and assist in the administration of projects in the field. Teamwork and project-based learning are emphasized.

This program is common with the first four semesters of the Civil Engineering Technology program, and graduates may choose to continue into the third year of that program.

In this program, students engage in interdisciplinary problem-solving, combining visual sensitivity with skill and knowledge in the areas of communications, technology, and business. Students learn to structure visual information to aid communication in both print and web-based formats, and employ these skills in the creation of advertising, editorial, branding, and information design.

In this program, students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and professionalism necessary to conduct applied research in sectors such as marketing, tourism, media, government, public affairs, education, health, non-profit and social service agencies. Students are provided with hands-on experience and focus on the entire research process. Students formulate research questions, develop research designs, collect information from primary and secondary sources, perform data analysis, interpret results, communicate findings, and develop strategic recommendations. Additional features of the program include an emphasis on traditional and emerging qualitative and quantitative methodologies, the use of technology, effective communication processes, and adherence to professional and ethical standards.

Students safely set-up and operate standard machine tools and complex machining equipment, such as CNC lathes and mills. Knowledge and skills learned are used to repair or manufacture components, assist with design of jigs, fixtures, tools, moulds and dies and perform troubleshooting to enact repairs on production tooling. Students use accurate testing methods to ensure accuracy of manufactured components.

Feed your dreams! This one year program trains students to work in professional kitchens regionally, nationally, and internationally. Students learn fundamental food knowledge and develop skills of food preparation and presentation that prepares them for lifelong career success with strong industry connections. Students practice professionalism, culinary and management skills, safety and sanitation, nutrition, product knowledge and identification while applying their skills in a hands on learning environment. This program provides the in school portion of the cook apprenticeship program of the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development.

In this program, students are prepared with the knowledge, skills and professional competencies required for the Esthetics Industry. Students in this program are able to provide spa modalities, such as make up and specialized skin, body and hand/foot treatments. In addition, business applications required to run a small business are emphasized. This program has been designed with the intent to academically prepare students for international testing and to inspire a passion for the health and wellness industry.

This two-year program will give students a comprehensive education in the design theory and technical and aesthetic skills required by the jewellery and metals industry for entry level positions. The emphasis in Semesters 1 and 2 is on basic information and techniques as related to jewellery. Advanced jewellery techniques will be learned as well as hollowware and flatware in Semester 3 and 4. Note: Graduates of this program are eligible to apply for the post-graduate diploma program of GLDS Goldsmithing and Silversmithing.

Students are prepared to assist in a wide variety of entry-level office settings by gaining skills and knowledge to support the management of an organization. By learning three key and interdependent functions: organization, processing information, and communication, students achieve a solid foundation to allow for further educational growth. Students may elect to transition for an additional year into enhanced and specialized learning leading to an Office Administration–Health Services or Office Administration-Executive diploma.

Initially, students in all Office Administration streams enroll in a common first semester. In their second semester, they have course selection options to complement the prescribed general curriculum. Students' interests, skills, and career goals may lead to year 2 of the Office Administration – Health Services or Office Administration-Executive diploma.

Students in this program prepare for work with architects, engineers, designers, and project managers as an integral part of the team developing, presenting, and executing building designs. The program equips a student with comprehensive understanding of current competitive architectural and construction environments that challenge professionals in the field, including traditional and emerging construction technologies and materials, the current codes and standards, and business and entrepreneurial essential strategies. Various aspects of architectural design are present in a continuous stream throughout the curriculum, starting from design fundamentals and ending in the third year with the two-semester major architectural project. These projects are supported by courses dedicated to industry-standard computer applications, such as Autodesk® AutoCAD® and Revit®, and leading-edge technologies related to Building Information Modeling, such as virtual reality and building scanning.

This program is intended for students who wish to develop a strong educational and experiential base in business. Students acquire skills in acquisitions analysis, market research, selling, networking, financial analysis and planning, various computer applications and systems, social entrepreneurship development, human resource planning and management. Students also develop skills to integrate the whole area of business principles and practices in order to successfully operate and manage a business.

This program is particularly appropriate for students whose goal is to enter a family business, start their own business, or enter employment in a small business. One of the key experiential outcomes is the research, development and presentation of a complete business plan for a new enterprise.
