Mandatory Degree Co-op
A work experience that includes at least one term in a formal work environment. The Cloud Architecture & Administration graduate certificate program will provide you with knowledge and skills to become an essential part of a modern information technology (IT) team. You will learn how to effectively and securely integrate IT infrastructure, including cloud services, internet of things devices and traditional on-premises equipment. You will also develop an understanding of potential issues with privacy and the law and how to mitigate those risks. During the program, you will gain essential leadership and management skills, providing opportunities for you to advance in your career.

An optional work-integrated learning experience will offer an opportunity to expand your learning and apply skills to real-life work settings. You will also work on a capstone project that integrates knowledge and skills obtained throughout the program.

This two-year diploma program is designed to provide a solid foundation of the skills and knowledge required to work in the corporate travel business, leisure, or cruise travel sectors. In this program, you will understand the tourism industry as a business with an emphasis on developing a service-driven attitude and honing business skills in marketing, sales and customer relations.

You will also acquire knowledge in negotiation, risk management, learn industry specific global distribution systems, discover local and international tourism destinations and geography.

In semester two of the program, you can continue your studies in the Tourism Services concentration or switch to the Tourism –Services Management - Global Tourism Business concentration.  Switching is seamless with a common first semester in both programs.

The four-year Honours Bachelor of Child Development degree program prepares you for expansive opportunities across the health, education, and social service sectors. Upon completion of this program, you will be able to pursue careers in family support services, recreation, early learning and education, infant mental health, and early intervention for children and youth with diverse abilities. You will also qualify to register as a member of the College of Early Childhood Educator and practice as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE).

With ongoing specialization, our students have achieved successful careers in assessment and counselling, child life, elementary teaching, speech and language therapy, and occupational therapy. Like many of our graduates, you may choose to complete your Bachelor of Education or a Master of Arts. Our faculty have direct experience in community settings and may help you in facilitating job opportunities.

As a student of this program, you will complete a work term which frequently translates into future employment. Ultimately, our applied learning model crosses various disciplines which will help you to think critically and gain experience in the field that fits your unique interests.

In this two-year diploma program, you will learn about environmental technology, water resources and applied sciences to gain the problem-solving skills needed for success in the environmental sector.  As a graduate you will be training to work as an environmental technician within traditional and environmental engineering industries.

In this three-year advanced diploma program, you will learn how to interpret schematic drawings, and use electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools. With an emphasis on automation and robotics, this program is a blend of electronics and mechanical engineering and focuses on training engineering technologists. You will acquire industry specific skills such as operating hydraulic and pneumatic machineries, using programmable logic controllers (PLC), and understanding machine elements and industrial automation. Classes and labs will be delivered in Seneca’s Centre for Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship

This two-year diploma program will help you establish a service-driven attitude and develop your business and entrepreneurial skills to create, promote and sell global tourism products and services. You will graduate as a specialist in tourism destination innovation and implementing exciting new tourism services.

Field Placement
You will complete 150 hours of unpaid placement in the fourth semester in one of the tourism and travel segments. You will receive assistance from your professor, but it is your responsibility to confirm a placement upon successful completion of all third semester courses before accepting a field placement position.

In this two-year diploma program, you will learn the fundamentals of digital and analog electronics, combined with a foundation in computer technology. This program provides relevant hands—on laboratory work to give you the practical experience, as well as theoretical knowledge of electronic devices, computer programming and diagnostic techniques that the electronics industry values.
