Sheridan’s Veterinary Technician program prepares you to join a professional team in a veterinary medical setting
Outstanding career preparation
This program is a pathway to a rewarding career working with animals in a medical capacity. You’ll learn from Registered Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians, and apply your learning with a field placement in a veterinary clinic.

Accredited by the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians, you’ll be able to sit for the Veterinary Technician National Exam when you graduate.
A humane approach
We strongly believe in a humane and caring approach to veterinary education, so we replace the use of live animals with manikins for teaching purposes whenever possible. Using manikins, you'll fine-tune your skill dexterity in procedures ranging from bandaging to catheter placement and intubation. You will also apply your learning to live animals while in field placement each semester.

This program will introduce you to the fields of chemistry, engineering, architecture, information technology and skilled trades.

In this program, you'll experiment with five subject areas — chemistry, engineering, architecture, information technology and trades — helping you decide what you want to focus on in your career.

This program will also help you meet the admission requirements for technology diploma programs. You'll upgrade your skills and academic experience, which will help you to be successful in any technology or trades program you choose.

At Sheridan, we believe the best way to learn is by doing. Put your new marketing skills to work through collaborative assignments, hands-on applications, case analyses and industry projects. Get a strong foundation in law enforcement
Police services have strict hiring standards. At Sheridan, you’ll take physical fitness and other seminar courses to prepare you for these requirements. You’ll also learn current legislation, and how police promote and maintain safety. Outstanding career preparation:-
This program focuses on developing progressive leaders in early childhood education and care (ECEC) and child advocacy. You'll learn to design and manage an inclusive, positive, learning-centred environment, and you'll gain the critical thinking, business and interpersonal skills necessary to fulfill a leadership role and direct innovative practices in ECEC.

• In this program, you’ll build your skills and knowledge in multiple computing platforms and environments. You’ll learn to apply the latest technologies to solve real-world problems with:

• After earning your Computer Systems Technology advanced diploma, you can apply to bridge into Year 3 of one of these Sheridan degree programs: Honours Bachelor of Applied Computer Science (Mobile Computing), or Honours Bachelor of Applied Information Sciences (Information Systems Security). 

Co-op Option

• Students in this program may apply to the co-op program during their second academic semester. Enrolment in the Co-op program is limited through an additional co-op application process that takes place at the end of the first year. Students in the co-op program are eligible to complete three co-op work terms prior to graduation. The program-specific academic standard required for participation in co-op
• Co-operative Education is a form of work-integrated learning that links classroom learning with paid or unpaid work experience within a professional environment. Co-op work terms are related specifically to the academic studies of each student. The work terms provide an opportunity to learn by doing. You’ll apply theory to practice, develop a meaningful view of the working world, and cultivate an awareness of yourself as a professional.
• Students receive in-class and 1-on-1 career education support to help prepare for the work term. The co-op component is delivered by Sheridan’s Co-operative Education Office, which facilitates over 1,800 Co-op/Internship work terms per year Sheridan-wide.

Gain the fundamental knowledge needed to work in the field of mechanical engineering! In addition to basic math and science, you’ll study advanced subjects such as calculus, machine kinematics, fluid power, process controls and industrial practices. Learn about the latest equipment and technologies, including programmable logic controllers, materials testing and additive manufacturing.

Co-op
Students in this program may apply to the co-op program during their first academic semester. Enrolment in the co-op program is limited through an additional co-op application process that takes place in the first semester. Students in the co-op program are eligible to complete a co-op work term during the 4-month term following the second semester. In this program, you’ll get the fundamental skills you need to find finance jobs. You’ll learn to process financial records, analyze reports and network in business. You’ll also get hands-on experience as you study investing, financial statement analysis and more. With your well-rounded knowledge, you’ll be prepared to work at a financial institution or in a finance department by graduation.
