Critical training
This program is accredited by the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs. You'll learn in state-of-the-art facilities designed to replicate the drug distribution systems used in today's pharmacy settings, and will receive the specialized training you need to work as a pharmacy technician in a community, hospital or other pharmacy practice site.

Sheridan's Electronics Engineering Technician/Technology program graduates are employed in many career path jobs in a variety of industries. Employers know that our Electronics Engineering graduates enter the workforce with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to be productive from their first day on the job.

An industry-relevant curriculum
Sheridan stays current with the latest technology, so you'll work directly with the same equipment and techniques you'll encounter in the electronics engineering industry. You'll gain first-hand experience with power and energy systems, signal processing, computer simulation, digital communications, circuit board design, control systems, microcontrollers and embedded systems.

Advanced work and learning opportunities
Students can graduate after two years with an Electronics Engineering Technician diploma, or continue for an optional third year to pursue a Technology advanced diploma. If you do opt for the third year, you'll have the opportunity to apply for a paid, co-op work placement in electronics engineering that enables you to earn while you learn. The need for skilled welders is growing in Canada. Sheridan's welding programs offer superior training and a pathway into this highly desirable trade. You'll get a thorough, practical education in the most current welding techniques and theories. Upon graduation, you'll be qualified to enter an apprenticeship as a welder, boilermaker, pipefitter, steamfitter, millwright or sheet-metal mechanic.

Canadian Welding Bureau certification:-
Our welding programs provide opportunities for Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) certification. Welding and Fabrication Technician diploma students may challenge structural steel tests in four welding processes to obtain up to 13 licences. In our 1-year Welding Techniques certificate program, students may test in three welding processes in the flat position to obtain up to three licences.

This program is the first of its kind in Canada. It addresses the need for a new way of looking at community safety, focusing on prevention, preparedness and social justice. Traditional law enforcement methods are expensive and don’t always address the diverse needs of Canadian society. That’s why the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, non-profits, and graduate programs endorse this degree.

Sheridan's Kinesiology and Health Promotion program equips you to develop, implement and manage health programs and initiatives.

The program's multidisciplinary approach borrows from the strengths of traditional kinesiology and health sciences curricula and enhances them with business management and lab experiences. Through two field placements (Year 2 and 4) and a 14-week paid cooperative work term (Year 3), you'll have the opportunity to observe and apply theories studied in class, gaining invaluable real-world experience.

Conceive, Design, Implement and Operate
Theory is important, but so is the opportunity to put it into practice. Because our electrical engineering degree is one of the few in Canada that embrace the CDIO Initiative (Conceive, Design, Implement and Operate), you’ll spend up to 50% of your class time working in labs. By using the systems you build, you'll learn what it takes to imagine and develop user-friendly solutions.

Specialize in Energy or Mechatronics
In the third and fourth years of your electrical engineering courses, you'll have the opportunity to specialize in one of two technical streams — energy or mechatronics. Our energy stream prepares you for work in the electrical utility sector. In the mechatronics stream, you'll gain the skills necessary to work in the fields of automation and instrumentation.

At Sheridan, we believe the best way to learn is by doing. Put your new marketing skills to work through collaborative assignments, hands-on applications, case analyses and industry projects. This program is a pathway to a rewarding career working with animals in a medical capacity. You’ll learn from Registered Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians, and apply your learning with a field placement in a veterinary clinic.

Accredited by the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians, you’ll be able to sit for the Veterinary Technician National Exam when you graduate.
A humane approach
We strongly believe in a humane and caring approach to veterinary education, so we replace the use of live animals with manikins for teaching purposes whenever possible. Using manikins, you'll fine-tune your skill dexterity in procedures ranging from bandaging to catheter placement and intubation. You will also apply your learning to live animals while in field placement each semester.
