B. Sc. in Cardiovascular technology (B.Sc-CVT) is an industry-oriented course with focus on training students in of cardiovascular disease management and care. Students are given in-depth understanding and training to acquire skills for management of various cardiac disorders. The graduates can work as Cardiac Technologists who assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac (heart) and peripheral vascular (blood vessel) conditions. They play a crucial role during open-heart surgery or for implanting pacemakers or while monitoring patients during these procedures.

Department is situated on ground level of the Dental College which helps it to work in close association with departments of Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery for patient’s diagnosis and treatment planning. It imparts education and subject expertise on dental anatomy and oral histology as well as oral pathology to under-graduates and post- graduates through first three years of their training for BDS degree and also higher education to budding oral pathologists.

The Pharm D programme is an emerging concept globally focusing mainly on improving healthcare system for a better drug therapy by assisting medical practitioners. It is a clinical-oriented curriculum where the students would be trained to provide information about diseases, drugs and lifestyle modifications to the patients in a hospital environment and work on to improve the patient’s health condition.

MM(DU)offers B.Sc. Dialysis Therapy course for students keen to gain specialization in practice and usage of dialysis. The course prepares graduates who are competent and skilled to treat various diseases related to kidney and perform dialysis on patients suffering from kidney failure. Students are given in-depth training for using the equipment for dialysis treatment, water treatment monitoring, dialyses reprocessing, vascular access monitoring and also about direct patient care. We also train the students in dialysis prescription interpretation, safety and sanitation, emergency interventions, and professional standards and ethics.

The three-year full time regular course equips the students with all the required skills, knowledge and attitude to efficiently discharge supervisory responsibilities in the Hospitality sector. The program involves in-depth laboratory work for students to gain expertise in the operational areas of Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, Front Office Operation and House Keeping. It also provides managerial inputs in Hotel Accountancy, Food Safety & Quality, Human Resource Management, Facility Planning, Financial Management, Strategic Management, Tourism Marketing and Tourism Management.
The course pays attention to tactical and strategic management in areas like event management, financial management, human resource management, revenue management and entrepreneurship. Some of the foremost objectives of the course are also to develop research skills, complete a 6 months internship in the industry that too twice during the tenure of the course which will be able to deepen the knowledge in the field of Hospitality Industry.

The programme is designed to generate employable IT workforce having sound knowledge of IT which can be used to produce and customize solutions for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME).

(Quality assurance) is a two-year duration course designed to meet the specific needs of ever-expanding pharmaceutical industry, research organizations and academic institutions with special emphasis on the quality management system and regulatory submissions. The department of Quality Assurance is equipped with the state-of-art laboratories, ultra-modern facilities and competitive staff, which have been considered as most sophisticated infrastructure in the country.

 The focused research areas of the department are

• Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetic studies
• Development of analytical and bio-analytical method and validation
• Pharmaceutical materials science including crystal engineering and crystal structure manipulations of drug molecules
• Quality Management System of pharmaceutical industry
• Expertise in preparation and submission of dossiers.
