The undergraduate degree in Nursing is a nationally recognized educational programme that trains the students to assume responsibility in the primary, secondary, and tertiary care of people as professional nurses. This programme becomes the basis for the Master’s programme in nursing.

Pediatric dentistry encompasses a variety of disciplines, techniques and procedures to modify and adapt to the special needs of infants, children and adolescents. Pediatric Dentistry is an “Age Defined” specialty. In this department, students perform all types of preventive and comprehensive dental procedures in children up to the age of 14 years. Further, a child friendly environment is provided considering the variable behavior needs of the growing children and thus instilling in them a positive attitude towards dentistry.

Radiography is the science of taking images of the internal and hidden portions of the human body for diagnostic purpose Using Ultrasound, X-ray, CT scan, MRI, etc. comes under the realm of Radiography. Radiography, a promineny paramedical professional course is meant to create professionals expert in diagnostic tests for medical treatment with the use of radiation. There is huge scope for Radiographers in Healthcare industry, Diagnostic Department, Intensive Care Units of Hospital and Operating Theatre. It is worth mentioning that radiographers who can perform the ultrasound test are known as sonographers.

The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery deals with teaching, evaluating, carrying out research in and providing surgical healthcare services in the diagnosis and treatment of trauma, diseases, deformities and defects of the face and jaws.

Postgraduate program in Nursing adds on to the skills and competence acquired at the graduate levels. M.Sc. Nursing program is especially designed in sync with the needs of current healthcare industry. It emphasizes on the application of relevant theories into nursing practice and prepares nurses for leadership position in nursing and health fields. The students can explore work profiles like nurse specialists, consultants, educators, administrators and researchers in a wide variety of professional settings post completion of this M.Sc. degree in Nursing. MM(DU) offers B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), a dedicated course that helps the students evolve as Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist. An MLT is an important part of Medical team with full knowledge of diagnosis, prevention and timely treatment of diseases through clinical laboratory tests. As a professional, you would play a key role in identifying abnormalities in the samples such as malignancies, pathogens, or genetic abnormalities.

• To create efficient and confident professionals aware about safety settings in clinical laboratory and high-pressure hospital environments.

Periodontology is the dental specialty that focuses on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the gingiva, or “gums” and other surrounding tissues. The Department of Periodontology & Oral Implantology educates the under graduate students in the didactic and clinical applications necessary to perform the entire spectrum of periodontal procedures. The department includes MDS programme which is a three-year program with an intake capacity of 5 students per year. The department also includes the Dental Hygiene Program, which has a intake capacity of 20 students per year. The goal of the Department is to promote periodontal dentistry as dental medicine where prevention can be practiced. Periodontists believe that personal good oral hygiene behaviors are best taught to and practiced by age-specific and social groups through oral health education. Periodontal medicine perceives good oral health as an open gateway to good general systemic health, and documents the many links to general systemic health affected by the destructive presence of inflammation and oral infection from bacteria.

3-year full-time course having 6 semesters which accentuates to develop skilled manpower in the different fields of computer application like: Database Management System, Software Development, Programming Languages, Software Engineering, Web based applications etc.

The programme is designed to generate employable IT workforce having sound knowledge of IT which can be used to produce and customize solutions for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME).

Objective

The M.M School of nursing was started in Sept,2004 with 50 seats for General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course of 3 year duration. The course is run by Haryana Nurses & Nurse Midwives Council (Panchkula). Later in 2006 INC granted 60 seats to our school. Since then, the school flourishing every year with 100% admission. Aim of school of nursing is to prepare competent and skilled female nurses who can provides quality of care to patients. 

M.Sc. in Medical Lab Technology course is a masters’ level course for students keen to gain expertise in procedures for diagnostic testing in a laboratory. The course helps them analyze and identify substances, and microorganisms using common instruments found in a laboratory. Students are given in-depth knowledge of Chemistry, Human Biology, Organic Chemistry, Haematology, Bacteriology and Medical Technology and practical sessions in laboratory procedures, analysing various substances including glucose, enzymes, electrolytes, spectrometer, laboratory mathematics, and clinical applications.
