Optometry is the science of dealing with issues and problems related to the eye. A course in Optometry covers every aspect related to understanding the eye, problems, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of illnesses and diseases etc. MM(DU) follows the Ministry of Health guidelines and offers lateral entry in Degree course to diploma holders in Optometry in the 3rd semester to balance the gaps in diploma programs. The program covers both clinical and theoretical aspects. Students would get in-depth understanding and training to treat Cornea, Glaucoma, Low vision and Retina.

B.Pharm course focuses on medicinal chemistry, organic as well as inorganic aspects of chemistry. It also includes concepts of Bio-chemistry, Health education and Human anatomy and highlights the uses, effect and action of drugs on body (Pharmacology, Pathophysiology) as part of the curriculum. This program teaches the process of turning a chemical into a drug which is called physical pharmaceutics, Bio-pharmaceutics plus pharmaceutical technology. Apart from this Herbal drug technology is also part of the curriculum.

Realizing the increasing importance of law professional in the world of business and corporate management, the Department of Law at MM(DU) offers this course which blends the best of both worlds – Commercial and Legal. The course explores extensive opportunities available in the world of commercial and legal practice. The students are given in-depth knowledge of every aspect of law along with skills training to communicate, both orally and in writing, to think critically and creatively, and to access, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information. The course B.Com.LL.B.(Honors) aims to provide the opportunity in law with combination of commerce and management .

The 3-year B.Sc. Nutrition &Dietetics programme offers opportunities for students to develop Professional competencies in the areas of Foods, Nutrition and Dietetics. Under this programme, students are taught to focus on improving the nutrition status of the people. After the completion of B.Sc. Nutrition & Dietetics degree, a student turns into a qualified nutritionist & dietician, who educate people about proper food choices to promote healthy eating and healthy life-style.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. As Digital Technologies occupy the central space in every industry, the Masters course is focused on imparting in-depth knowledge of various aspects of Computer Science and Information Technology to the students. With smartphones and digital gadgets occupying maximum space in our life, M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is fast emerging as the preferred choice of career. Bachelor of Physiotherapy program offered by MM (DU), Mullana is designed to meet the international standards and is recognized by the IAP. The program is taught by a qualified faculty and has a balanced exposure of both academic and clinical training in the field of Physiotherapy. The curriculum is enriched with basic medical sciences, study of various disorders of human body, basic and advanced principles of physiotherapy, assessment and physical therapy based treatment approaches. The delivery modes emphasize on evidence based clinical practices.

The M.M School of nursing was started in Sept,2004 with 50 seats for General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course of 3 year duration. The course is run by Haryana Nurses & Nurse Midwives Council (Panchkula). Later in 2006 INC granted 60 seats to our school. Since then, the school flourishing every year with 100% admission. Aim of school of nursing is to prepare competent and skilled female nurses who can provides quality of care to patients. 

The undergraduate degree in Nursing is a nationally recognized educational programme that trains the students to assume responsibility in the primary, secondary, and tertiary care of people as professional nurses. The graduates are made capable of teaching and supervising appropriate nursing and health care in different setting and participate in the administration of nursing service and education. This programme becomes the basis for the Master’s programme in nursing.

The Prosthodontics Department is responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in several areas: Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, Occlusion and TMJ Dysfunction, Dental Implants and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. We are committed to continuing professional development and postgraduate courses. We strive to let our patients have a unique, holistic, professional experience when they visit our department. We are also committed to providing the highest standard of dental care available. The postgraduate programme is designed for advanced training in the rehabilitation of completely edentulous, partially edentulous patients and patients requiring Implants and Maxillofacial prosthesis.

The academic schedule is designed to include seminars, journal club presentations, case presentations and a dissertation. Courses are evaluated and updated annually for contents and are augmented with technology to teach the latest techniques in Prosthodontics within comprehensive treatment planning, Implant Dentistry, Occlusion and Aesthetics. We further aim to pursue research of high quality, and to constantly improve on our teaching techniques/methods.

The B.Com (Hons.) course aims at providing inputs to the students relevant to the business, industry and trade so that they can function in different organizations and face the challenges arising there from. The course not only aims at providing knowledge and skills in different areas of management, but also provides inputs necessary for the overall development of the personality of the students.
