The department, in furtherance of the university mission, strives to help students build a framework for life that is ethical, service-oriented, and appreciative of diversity and committed to continuing education. BBA.LL.B. (Hons.) course provides immense and lucrative opportunities to understand and apply the theoretical & practical knowledge in sync with business practices. This course gives a strong foundation to the budding lawyers owing to its well-rounded pedagogy and exposure to the industry practices. The course BBA.LL.B.(Honors) aims to provide the opportunity in law with combination of business administration.

The Department imparts the knowledge of the principles of health promotion and disease prevention among the students. It also helps to achieve knowledge of community based preventive measure and knowledge of social, cultural and environmental factors which contribute to health. The students will be able to administer Oral Hygiene instructions, topical fluoride therapy and fissure sealants to the patients. The department also imparts education regarding the etiology and prevention of Oral Disease and encouraging them by assuring responsibility of their Oral Health. Further the students are also trained to develop and prepare charts, models, posters and visuals on Oral Health Themes with the intention to educate the mass about the importance of Oral Health.

The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery deals with teaching, evaluating, carrying out research in and providing surgical healthcare services in the diagnosis and treatment of trauma, diseases, deformities and defects of the face and jaws.

The undergraduate degree in Nursing is a nationally recognized educational programme that trains the students to assume responsibility in the primary, secondary, and tertiary care of people as professional nurses. The graduates are made capable of teaching and supervising appropriate nursing and health care in different setting and participate in the administration of nursing service and education. This programme becomes the basis for the Master’s programme in nursing.

Dentistry offers many opportunities, challenges and rewards. It is a rapidly changing and expanding profession.Dentists are often the first health care professionals to recognize and identify a wide variety of diseases, ranging from hypertension to oral cancer. These oral diseases often reveal other health issues that may require a follow-up with the patient’s primary physician. Dentists provide services that improve patients’ appearance and self-confidence through a wide variety of cosmetic dental procedures. These services can make patients feel better about their smiles. Dentists provide an essential health care service. They are highly respected within the community. Dentists are skilled, conscientious, civic-minded individuals who work with community leaders, educators, other health professionals and government officials. They often volunteer services to school health programs and to elderly, handicapped or poor citizens, demonstrating a selflessness that is a hallmark of professionalism.

Pharm. (Quality assurance) is a two-year duration course designed to meet the specific needs of ever-expanding pharmaceutical industry, research organizations and academic institutions with special emphasis on the quality management system and regulatory submissions. The department of Quality Assurance is equipped with the state-of-art laboratories, ultra-modern facilities and competitive staff, which have been considered as most sophisticated infrastructure in the country.

 The focused research areas of the department are

• Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetic studies
• Development of analytical and bio-analytical method and validation
• Pharmaceutical materials science including crystal engineering and crystal structure manipulations of drug molecules
• Quality Management System of pharmaceutical industry
• Expertise in preparation and submission of dossiers.

The Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics at the Maharashi Markandeshwar College of Dental Science & Research Mullana aims at the diagnosis and treatment of dental caries and its sequel, maltormations, discoloration thereby restoring the teeth to its normal form and function with a pleasing aesthetics. The department has modern dental units with separate UG and air conditioned PG clinics. The clinics are fully loaded with all the latest instruments and dental materials like RVG,Surgical Operating Microscope ,Endoactivator,Thermoplastic obturation system,Endodmotor etc. There is an ample flow of patients for clinical training and an opportunity for students to increase their skills.The department has full fledge experienced faculty all of who are committed to excellence in all fields. The students are encouraged towards academic & clinical excellence via attending CDE programmes & Conferences.

B.A.LL.B. course provides the students a great opportunity to explore the theoretical & practical knowledge of this field. B.A.LL.B. course provides options to work as litigating lawyers and corporate lawyers. The idea behind the course is to groom the students with a sound understanding of the fundamentals of legal profession. The course is designed to help the students explore and develop multiple skills ranging from analytical thinking to effective communication. This is one of the recommended courses for the students who are attracted by the world of law and lawyers and wish to follow their interest. This degree is your first step towards becoming a successful lawyer and also getting ready to fit in any organization that requires legal advisory and guidance.

The Prosthodontics Department is responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in several areas: Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, Occlusion and TMJ Dysfunction, Dental Implants and Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. We are committed to continuing professional development and postgraduate courses. We strive to let our patients have a unique, holistic, professional experience when they visit our department. We are also committed to providing the highest standard of dental care available. The postgraduate programme is designed for advanced training in the rehabilitation of completely edentulous, partially edentulous patients and patients requiring Implants and Maxillofacial prosthesis.

The academic schedule is designed to include seminars, journal club presentations, case presentations and a dissertation. Courses are evaluated and updated annually for contents and are augmented with technology to teach the latest techniques in Prosthodontics within comprehensive treatment planning, Implant Dentistry, Occlusion and Aesthetics. We further aim to pursue research of high quality, and to constantly improve on our teaching techniques/methods.

The Pharm D programme is an emerging concept globally focusing mainly on improving healthcare system for a better drug therapy by assisting medical practitioners. It is a clinical-oriented curriculum where the students would be trained to provide information about diseases, drugs and lifestyle modifications to the patients in a hospital environment and work on to improve the patient’s health condition.
