The three-year fully residential BBA (Hons.) Degree programme is designed to give a global business management perspective through a unique pedagogy of learning and interaction. Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) offers the 5-year integrated Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Laws (BBA LL.B. (Hons.)) Programme since 2013. The Programme is designed in keeping with the latest Bar Council of India rules and the University Grants Commission prescriptions and aims at fostering a culture of scholarship and academic excellence amongst the students.

The BBA LL.B. (Hons.) course provides a holistic understanding of the legal discipline through a combination of business, management, and law. This multidisciplinary approach equips the students to apply the law to the facts.

• The students study foundational courses and get an opportunity to explore their interests via elective courses and independent research projects.
• They can explore various career options through internships like in the corporate sector, law firms, small business houses, start-ups, advisory and legal consultancy, under CAs, CSs, CFAs firms, contract law related opportunities, international law firms and international organisations.
• The internships and law school curriculum gives them a broader understanding of the legal system and allows them to envisage diverse career paths (including higher studies). This enables them to be better prepared to enter the legal profession.
• At the end of the programme, the students of BBA LL.B. will learn how to communicate in a legal setup, interpret and apply laws, explore niche options in the legal industry, specialise in legal subjects of their interest and succeed in legal employment.

The BA (Hons.) English (Language and Literature) programme is a well-designed curriculum delivered through the Jindal School of Languages and Literature that, first, leads students to mastery of the English language, and second, encourages their intensive engagement with literary and performative cultures expressed in the English language. While ‘literature in English’ is not the same thing as world literature, the English language is by now arguably the most important medium of world literature.

English is the language through which most people in the world today encounter, in translation, the literature and written heritage of the whole world. The undergraduate English degree the world over is known for its versatility and enduring value; although BA English is a pre-professional degree, it opens many doors to personal fulfilment and professional accomplishment. This is because an undergraduate English degree has never been about memorizing fossilized texts and musing over a few pretty words. Studying English is about whole engagement with language as a medium of heritage, the repository of thought and emotion, and the capacity that most defines us as human beings.

The objective of the Integrated BBA (Hons.)+ MBA, 5 year Degree programme is to enable students to embark upon a management career after completing 10+2 level examination. The programme provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of business management and the opportunity to pursue chosen areas of specialization.

The design and delivery of this integrated program is innovative and unique. It will equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to compete successfully for challenging positions in industry, government, non-profit organizations and civil services. This programme will create excellent managers and also instill the spirit of entrepreneurship so that the students evolve into leaders and wealth creators in the years to come.

The Integrated BBA (Hons.)+ MBA programme at JGBS being one of the most rigorous in the country is designed to prepare students with a global management perspective through a unique pedagogy of learning and interaction among peers in a modular format. Activities like live projects, field assignments and simulation games will form an integral part of the programme.

Field work such as the India Dream Project, Business Internship and Team-Consulting Assignment will help achieve holistic learning and also provide for a comprehensive understanding of the contemporary business environment. Option for a Post Graduate Degree Abroad: In the fifth year, students have the option to enroll for 1-year MS Degree with a partner foreign university subject to the terms and conditions of the host university.

Bachelor of Business Administration is an Under-Graduate Business Management course. The duration of a Bachelor of Business Administration is three-four years, divided into several semesters. The Bachelor of Business Administration course can be pursued either as a Full-Time Graduate Course or Part-Time Graduate Course i.e. through Correspondence or Distance Education depending upon one’s choice. Bachelor of Business Administration is often referred to as B.B.A (General) or B.B.A Pass Course. It is General in the sense that it is not Subject Specific, and one can choose several combinations of subjects, apart from two Compulsory Subjects. These combinations vary from institute to institute.

Financial Markets  programme  will be able to understand the different product and services offered by financial markets and institutions. They will have understanding of various financial data sources and will be equipped with various tools and techniques to analyse financial data and draw meaningful inferences. Our students of BBA (Hons.) – Financial Markets  will also be able to understand and participate in policy debates related to innovation in products and services offered by these markets and institutions. Aspirants of this program should have good analytical and quantitative skills and must have keen interest in learning about the dynamic and evolving financial markets and related institutions.

The Global B.Com. (Hons.) is the first programme being launched under the India Australia Global Education Initiative.The programme will offer innovative models of global education, training, and research for students in India. Students will commence studies with JGU in India and subsequently transfer to a Deakin University campus in Australia. 

The Global B.Com. (Hons.) offered in collaboration between JGU and Deakin University promises an education experience that blends the best of both institutions through an industry-relevant education portfolio,world-class faculty, and dynamic learning environment on the campuses of JGU in India and Deakin University in Australia. The unique portfolio of two undergraduate degrees from both institutions and a master’s degree from Deakin will ensure that graduates have an incredible opportunity to learn and grow in two international university systems.

Programme Introduction” to the following “Students continuing on to the Master’s programme will spend another 1.5 years at Deakin University pursuing their post-graduation at the end of which they will graduate with the MBA (International Business) degree in addition to the two undergraduate degrees

Jindal Global University offers a well-designed undergraduate curriculum through the Jindal School of Languages and Literature that leads students to proficiency in the Spanish language and familiarity with Hispanic cultures. The duration of the BA (Hons.) Spanish programme is three years (six semesters) full time. The curriculum ensures wide and deep engagement of students with a variety of cultural forms, including literature, drama and other arts (e.g., cinema, music). Students of the programme will have opportunities to be tested for Spanish proficiency certificates that are awarded by official cultural agencies. Many courses of the BA (Hons.) Spanish programme will also be open to students pursuing other degrees.

The programme enables students to attain B2 Spanish proficiency level at the end of the program by completing stages of language learning specified by the internationally accepted Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF). Graduates will be equipped to enter the employment world or to continue study of language and literature at postgraduate level.

The BA (Hons.) in Built Environment Studies at the Jindal School of Art and Architecture is a unique 3 + 1 (fellowship year option) program in the country. This program is especially designed for students who are interested in building and maintaining our cities, towns, infrastructure and communities from a humanistic and social scientific background. Through courses in this program you learn about the fundamentals of design & making our cities, towns infrastructure and communities in addition to learning law, policy, environmental issues, question of economics, technology, sustainability and ecology; all of which prepare you for becoming active participants in making the Built Environment of the future. Your “classrooms” are live cases and projects where you work with experts to learn how design, policy and law and go hand in hand to make buildings, cities, infrastructure to secure development that is just and equitable for communities. You visit and intern in firms that work globally in areas of housing, urban development, community design and development, conservation and heritage management, landscape design, sustainable development to develop your own insights into the variety of people who work on the Built Environment. You also avail of many exchange opportunities with similar programs in some of the top schools of design globally.
The Architectural Studies program, is geared towards students who are especially keen to embark on a career of engaging with the built environment from the point of view of nature, culture, history, politics and society. The program combines course from design and the liberal arts to produce professionals who are committed to understanding and making our built environment just, safe and equitable. The Bachelor of Design is a professional degree program for students who wish to work towards improving the inhabited spaces through experimental, experiential, and informed design processes. The program teaches students to imagine, propose, test and refine their ideas about how to live and dwell in the contemporary world and trains students in the knowledge systems that help anticipate changes in the future built environments (from domestic to urban scale). The program uniquely places student-centred inquiry as the core learning, through a sequential studio sequence culminating in a customized capstone design project. These courses are taught by internationally-trained design professors. The professional practice courses include new forms of social and technical knowledge: diversity, sustainability, digital representations and professional ethics. Other features of the program comprise diverse, customizable electives, a flexible system of minors in multiple subjects taught across schools within the university. This is a program for students with ambition, imagination and curiosity who wish to imagine and lead the design of a better world, and wishes to become knowledgeable and influential future design professions.
