The B.A. Economics (Honours) degree at the Jindal School of Government and Public Policy (JSGP) aims to provide theoretical and practical knowledge that makes accurate analysis of the economic situation possible.

B.A. Economics graduates from JSGP must be able to understand the interrelation between the economy and society: to consider economic problems from a global perspective and take a local approach to solve them; to make connections between an economic system’s different components; to gauge the implications of decisions related to economic policy; and to respond to the economic problems arising from society in general and the different units that interact therein (e.g. institutions, private companies and sectors of the economy).

The M.A./M.Sc. degree in Applied Psychology is awarded following completion of a two-year graduate programme committed to the study and application of psychological principles and findings. The programme benefits from a strong culture of interdisciplinary research and learning, practical exposure, and hands-on application. The degree and instruction are jointly provided by the Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences (JIBS) and the Jindal School of Psychology & Counselling (JSPC).

The programme aims to instil the necessary knowledge and skills for each student’s personal and academic growth, preparing them for immediate employment or Doctorate study.

Business Analytics deals with the study, analysis and interpretation of all data about businesses. The curriculum, focusing exclusively on Analytics, is uniquely designed for the young minds who need to acquire the combination of skill sets of Business Management and Information Technology. The specialized programme is meant for those people who are interested to solve business problems in a data driven manner. Hence, the curriculum covers Information Technology (IT), Statistical Methods as well as all business aspects in detail.

Through courses in this program you learn about the fundamentals of design & making our cities, towns infrastructure and communities in addition to learning law, policy, environmental issues, question of economics, technology, sustainability and ecology; all of which prepare you for becoming active participants in making the Built Environment of the future. Your “classrooms” are live cases and projects where you work with experts to learn how design, policy and law and go hand in hand to make buildings, cities, infrastructure to secure development that is just and equitable for communities. You visit and intern in firms that work globally in areas of housing, urban development, community design and development, conservation and heritage management, landscape design, sustainable development to develop your own insights into the variety of people who work on the Built Environment. You also avail of many exchange opportunities with similar programs in some of the top schools of design globally.
The Architectural Studies program, is geared towards students who are especially keen to embark on a career of engaging with the built environment from the point of view of nature, culture, history, politics and society. The MPH is a research-intensive two-year postgraduate degree programme that enables students to attain foundational training, skills and competencies to embark on a career in public health both in the Indian and global context. Building on the level of internationalization at JGU, the programme introduces students to a multiplicity of approaches and seeks to build competencies through a range of core courses, electives, specializations, dissertations and capstone options. In addition, students have the options of undertaking semester exchange and study abroad programmes with key institutions and centers of excellence in public health. In terms of outcomes, the students of the programme will be able to acquire the set of competencies, skills, and values based on the essential MPH Competencies designed by the Council for Education in Public Health (CEPH), United States of America

In the year 2021, we face an increasing array of environmental challenges that require greater levels of innovation and collaboration among industry, government, academics and communities. Jindal School of Environment and Sustainability (JSES) hopes to support the global efforts (India/Asia/Global South) toward a sustainable future with cutting-edge teaching, research and practice-based engagement. Through national and international collaborations, JSES will promote interdisciplinary studies, joint teaching and research programmes, and a comparative perspective on environment and sustainability issues. JSES has now opened admissions to the B.A./B.Sc. (Hons.) in Sustainable Development programme for the academic year 2022-23.

Our globalizing society has witnessed the rise of human rights as a profession, mainly under the aegis of the United Nations (UN) through various general and particular programmes of aid and assistance. These programmes percolated to the national, regional, and local levels through many sub-national human rights initiatives and activities. The activities spanned over areas, e.g., community services, charity, awareness building, investigation, research, policy-making, legal advice, and cause lawyering.
