Jindal Global University offers a well-designed undergraduate curriculum through the Jindal School of Languages and Literature that leads students to proficiency in the Spanish language and familiarity with Hispanic cultures. The duration of the BA (Hons.) Spanish programme is three years (six semesters) full time. The curriculum ensures wide and deep engagement of students with a variety of cultural forms, including literature, drama and other arts (e.g., cinema, music). Students of the programme will have opportunities to be tested for Spanish proficiency certificates that are awarded by official cultural agencies. Many courses of the BA (Hons.) The Bachelors of Architecture Program at the Jindal School of Art and Architecture (JSAA) is a five-year program in architecture which prepares you for a career as a licensed architect in India. The unique program at JSAA is divided into two parts; the Major and the Minor. In the Major you learn about material and making, about design thinking. You explore the social, historical, political, economic and technological interfaces of architecture. The major allows you to participate in exchange studios and collaborative works with students from some of the best schools in architecture such as AAP (Cornell), DAAP (University of Cincinnati), Bartlett (University College of London). The program places you in multiple internships at leading firms where you gain work experience, learn from and interact with the best architects in India and the world.

In addition to the Major, the program at the JSAA also allows you to choose one minor area of study. Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) is now offering the 3 years Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights (B.A. (Hons.) in Human Rights) programme. The programme is designed in keeping with the latest University Grants Commission prescriptions and aims at fostering a culture of scholarship and academic excellence amongst the students. Since its recognition as a right through Magna Carta, human rights have found a cardinal place in societies, irrespective of the nature of society or the form of government. The pan human perspective of human rights helped all members of society-irrespective of their class, creed, community, gender, and nationality-to become bearers of the rights. With the evolution of society from medieval monarchies to more advanced forms of social governance in modernity, human rights have become broader and inclusive. Our globalizing society has witnessed the rise of human rights as a profession, mainly under the aegis of the United Nations (UN) through various general and particular programmes of aid and assistance. These programmes percolated to the national, regional, and local levels through many sub-national human rights initiatives and activities. The activities spanned over areas, e.g., community services, charity, awareness building, investigation, research, policy-making, legal advice, and cause lawyering.

Bachelor of Business Administration is an Under-Graduate Business Management course. The duration of a Bachelor of Business Administration is three-four years, divided into several semesters. The Bachelor of Business Administration course can be pursued either as a Full-Time Graduate Course or Part-Time Graduate Course i.e. through Correspondence or Distance Education depending upon one’s choice. Bachelor of Business Administration is often referred to as B.B.A (General) or B.B.A Pass Course. It is General in the sense that it is not Subject Specific, and one can choose several combinations of subjects, apart from two Compulsory Subjects. These combinations vary from institute to institute.

This degree program is designed to help individuals develop the understanding necessary to successfully manage a business owned and operated by a family. Classes typically teach topics such as ownership control, succession and strategic relationships. Students discover ways to attain common goals, address conflicts and create plans for the company’s future.

The three-year B.A. (Hons.) Legal Studies programme at Jindal Global Law school aims to nurture legal imagination among young students and build a strong foundation to study law and social sciences in the future or be absorbed into legal and allied fields. This B.A. (Hons.) Legal Studies  programme will be the first ever multi-disciplinary undergraduate degree in legal studies to be launched in 2020-21 academic year.

The internet age has brought on the need for a scientific approach to the study of journalism and the media. How do you find information, process it and communicate it for maximum impact in the 21st century? Our international, industry-benchmarked curriculum takes on a liberal arts approach informed by the social sciences. We provide a holistic, experiential education where our students learn to produce content for multimedia platforms. We also teach our students to situate their journalism and media practice within the broader context of democracy, social welfare and human rights.

Experiential learning at JSJC works in two ways. First, our state-of-the-art studios enable our students to create professional-grade content, closely supervised by our faculty. Second, we work closely with the Office of Career Services to obtain internship opportunities for our students. We have partnered with leading media platforms in India. Our students have written for the Hindustan Times, the Citizen, Indian Express and the Wire amongst others. We are also working closely with international partners to facilitate study abroad and semester exchange programmes for our students. In the past, our students have taken classes at the University of Sydney, Koc University in Istanbul, IDC Herzliya in Israel amongst others.
