B.A. (Hons.) Finance Entrepreneurship is an innovative programme that combines entrepreneurial skills and creative abilities with focused training in finance and practical knowledge of technology. Jindal School of Banking & Finance offers the three-year fully residential B.A. Hons. Finance and Entrepreneurship programme with aim to provide students with hands-on training intending to prepare the students to create new products and services aiming to develop an entrepreneurial mindset with a practical understanding of finance in a dynamic environment.

The three-year fully residential BBA (Hons.) Degree programme is designed to give a global business management perspective through a unique pedagogy of learning and interaction. The B.A. (Hons.) Film and New Media programme is a three-year undergraduate programme to nurture filmmakers and new media artists of the future. After establishing a journalism programme comparable to the best in the world in 2017, we are now venturing into the exciting world of filmmaking. In the centenary year of the birth of the legendary filmmaker, Satyajit Ray, we are launching the B.A.(Hons.) Film and New Media programme at JSJC.

The B.A. (Hons.) Film and New Media programme is one of the few that look to equip students with the expertise to be full-fledged film professionals at an undergraduate level. It provides tools to let the students work on their creative expressions in a general university setting. It will help create an environment of free and open learning where students will be encouraged to find an original voice to push the boundaries of the audiovisual culture/ medium. We also honour the liberal arts tradition in our courses.

The LL.M. and Ph.D. programmes at JGLS are offered under the aegis of the CGLS. Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) is now offering the 3 years Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice (B.A. (Hons.) in Criminology and Criminal Justice) programme. The programme is designed in complaince with the latest University Grants Commission prescriptions and aims at fostering a culture of scholarship and academic excellence amongst the students. Criminology as a branch of knowledge is built on certain foundations which include a thorough understanding of criminal justice system, elementary knowledge of criminal law, and an appreciation of rule of law. Criminology improves the criminal justice system by contributing to the effective enforcement of criminal law. Through the programme, the School aims to build criminal justice professionals who can contribute to the administration of the justice by upholding the values of rule of law.

Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) offers the 3-year Bachelor of Laws LL.B (Hons.) Programme since its year of inception in 2009. The Programme is designed in keeping with the latest Bar Council of India rules and the University Grants Commission prescriptions and aims at fostering a culture of scholarship and academic excellence amongst the students.

The internet age has brought on the need for a scientific approach to the study of journalism and the media. How do you find information, process it and communicate it for maximum impact in the 21st century? Our international, industry-benchmarked curriculum takes on a liberal arts approach informed by the social sciences. We provide a holistic, experiential education where our students learn to produce content for multimedia platforms. We also teach our students to situate their journalism and media practice within the broader context of democracy, social welfare and human rights.

Experiential learning at JSJC works in two ways. First, our state-of-the-art studios enable our students to create professional-grade content, closely supervised by our faculty. Second, we work closely with the Office of Career Services to obtain internship opportunities for our students. We have partnered with leading media platforms in India. Our students have written for the Hindustan Times, the Citizen, Indian Express and the Wire amongst others. We are also working closely with international partners to facilitate study abroad and semester exchange programmes for our students. In the past, our students have taken classes at the University of Sydney, Koc University in Istanbul, IDC Herzliya in Israel amongst others.

The B.A. (Hons.) Diplomacy and Foreign Policy programme aims to equip students with an overview of the various instruments a state may use to pursue its foreign policy in a complex and challenging world order at the intersection of a detailed consideration of the constraints and limits it faces in the international domain, emanating from the rise/fall of globalisation, social and economic rights, and communication technologies which are central to media-based public diplomacy. It is the first and only unique Bachelor’s degree programme in India which integrates the study of related fields of foreign policy in the context of preservation of a state’s sovereignty and national interests, decision-making models of national leaders, hard and soft power in a fast-changing world order, and the essentials of statecraft– all combined into a single seamless Bachelor’s degree. This programme ensures that students gain a comprehensive foundation for understanding and applying classroom learnings as well as shaping their careers. Students will be introduced to diverse ideas and concepts of statehood and nationhood, national interest and diplomacy, the interaction between foreign policy formation and processes, and security, war, peace, sustainable development and other non-traditional domains involving social, political and economic rights as well.

The BA (Hons.) in Built Environment Studies at the Jindal School of Art and Architecture is a unique 3 + 1 (fellowship year option) program in the country. This program is especially designed for students who are interested in building and maintaining our cities, towns, infrastructure and communities from a humanistic and social scientific background. Through courses in this program you learn about the fundamentals of design & making our cities, towns infrastructure and communities in addition to learning law, policy, environmental issues, question of economics, technology, sustainability and ecology; all of which prepare you for becoming active participants in making the Built Environment of the future. Your “classrooms” are live cases and projects where you work with experts to learn how design, policy and law and go hand in hand to make buildings, cities, infrastructure to secure development that is just and equitable for communities. You visit and intern in firms that work globally in areas of housing, urban development, community design and development, conservation and heritage management, landscape design, sustainable development to develop your own insights into the variety of people who work on the Built Environment. You also avail of many exchange opportunities with similar programs in some of the top schools of design globally.
