B. Tech. Chemical Engineering Spl in Refining and Petrochemicals is a specialization running since 2010 and has been accredited by NBA in 2019. This program enables students to have in-depth knowledge regarding the oil, gas, chemical, and the petrochemical sector, with major future prospects in industries like Exxon Mobil, Halliburton, Shell, Reliance, Phillips Carbon Black Ltd., Dr. Reddy’s Lab, etc. The program deals with courses like Petroleum refining technology, Petrochemical process technology, Catalyst design and catalysis, Chemical Industry 4.0 etc. which prepares the student to be ready for any oil and gas industry. We have our student alumni with this degree doing extremely well in both PSUs like Indian Oil Corporation Limited and also private sector like Exxon Mobil, Halliburton, Shell, Reliance etc.

The course is a concoction of the study of commerce and law. By completing this integrated course, a student can learn about two different professional fields. The specialised law course, in its five-years duration, equips the students with the knowledge of both commerce and legislative regulations as a comprehensive concept.

This is a 5-year integrated law degree program – the first two years of the program focus primarily on arts and the last three on law subjects. The program prepares students for both national as well as international criminal justice systems. It has both classroom teaching as well as practical components like moot courts, law internships, workshops, guest lectures, national and international academic events, legal debates, and interaction with legal luminaries.

This degree program trains students as digital storytellers provides hands on training on state-of-the-art infrastructure and imparts cross-cutting communication skills  which are in demand in the media sector,corporates, public policy institutions and startups.

With this specialization, students will learn how to effectively collect, organize, and categorize rich data sources into meaningful and engaging multimedia content. Students will learn how to make sense of data, basics of data acquisition, data visualization and creating stories with data. Our focus areas are data scraping, analysis, and visualization for studying spot patterns, trends, and correlation. Students will be introduced to coding languages like Python and visualization platforms like Canva & Data Wrapper for creative interactive media properties. With the focus on data visualizations, students will also learn how to use database and programming fundamentals into effective visual storytelling. We will also focus on using data in reporting and media communication. This is also a valuable skill set in the arenas of Marketing, Public Policy & Research. 

The specialization prepares the students on subjects including Service Operations and Total Quality Management. The emphasis is on developing critical as well as analytical thinking in the specialized area though case study, projects, workshops, masterclasses by industry experts, among other pedagogical tools.

Students pursuing Banking, Financial Services and Insurance will learn about essential computer science concepts such as algorithm, data structures, OOPS concepts with java and advanced Java, with databases and software engineering design processes. This core competency is catered to students and concepts of Data Science and Informatics are translated along with core competencies at appropriate positions. 

This specialisation explores the complex legal issues arising out of international banking, trade, and business from the standpoint of both transactional perspective and dispute settlement mechanisms (litigation and arbitration). Particularly oriented towards practice in these fields, the modules have a distinctly international and comparative dimension whilst at the same time drawing strongly on the rich tradition and experience of Indian law.

Apart from essential computer Science concepts such as algorithm, data structures, OOPS concepts with java and advanced Java and python, with databases and software engineering design processes, students pursuing Banking, Financial Services and Insurance will also learn banking application architectures, Banking data analytics along with products and processes in Banking sectors. Concepts of Data Science and Informatics are demystifying along with core competencies at appropriate positions.

Integrated (B.Des) - (M.Des) in Transportation & Mobility Design gives students access to a High-Performance Visualization Lab for real-time 3D visualization of products, Rapid Product Development Lab equipped with Rapid Prototyping, Laser scanner and Laser cutting machines. Students will have proficiency in creating mobility solutions with distinct functions and social impact.
