The course is a concoction of the study of commerce and law. By completing this integrated course, a student can learn about two different professional fields. The specialised law course, in its five-years duration, equips the students with the knowledge of both commerce and legislative regulations as a comprehensive concept.

This is a 5-year full-time course, which explores the role of international economic law in the contemporary global economy. It provides an overview of the legal foundations of the global economy and the regulatory frameworks governing international trade and investment relations.

The emphasis of the course is upon how international trade economics interacts with domestic investment law and cross-border investment law keeping in view MNC’s as well as other state and non-state actors.

Students pursuing Banking, Financial Services and Insurance will learn about essential computer science concepts such as algorithm, data structures, OOPS concepts with java and advanced Java, with databases and software engineering design processes. This core competency is catered to students and concepts of Data Science and Informatics are translated along with core competencies at appropriate positions. 

Banking, Management Insurance gives students an in-depth understanding of the economic, financial and banking affairs. It helps students gain adequate knowledge about the management of financial risk along with the general management areas such as strategy, marketing, and organisational studies. The specialisation aims to inculcate training and practical approach among the students by using modern technologies, and also to give adequate exposure to the operational environment in the field of banking.

UPES School of Design’s Under Graduate Programme, B.Des. in Transportation & Mobility Design gives students access to a High-Performance Visualization Lab for real-time 3D visualization of products, Rapid Product Development Lab equipped with Rapid Prototyping, Laser scanner and Laser cutting machines. Students will have proficiency in creating mobility solutions with distinct functions and social impact.

Data Science is a blend of various tools, algorithms, and machine learning principles with the goal to discover hidden patterns from the raw data. Data Scientist not only does the exploratory analysis to discover insights from it, but also uses various advanced machine-learning algorithms to identify the occurrence of a particular event in the future. Data Science is primarily used to make decisions and predictions making use of predictive causal analytics, prescriptive analytics (predictive plus decision science) and machine learning.

This specialised undergraduate program deals with the business, policy governance, regulatory, and legal aspects of various non-renewable/fossil fuels and renewable energy sources. The course covers the business cycle operations, regulatory policies, governance mechanism and all-round legal perspectives in the entire energy basket market including commercial, taxation, and environmental governance aspects.

Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.

This course has been designed to examine the interactions between food production and consumption, health, and environment through environmental and food justice lenses. Building on concepts developed in food systems, it explores topics such as public health disparities and their structural causes, environmental toxins in the food system and their impact on workers and consumers, as well as policies that have or could affect these outcomes, in both historical and contemporary contexts.

Apart from conceptual discussion and debates, the program also includes field trips and/or guest lectures to give practical experience to the learners.

Integrated (B.Des) - (M.Des) in Fashion Design introduces students to a combination of traditional craft techniques with digital technologies to transform concepts from two-dimensional fabrics into three-dimensional forms. The programme covers all aspects of the design process, from trend analysis, research and design development, drawing and illustration, colour and fabric development, historical and cultural studies, translation of ideas from 2D to 3D through to presentation, marketing and business development.
