This is a five-year program that offers domain-specific subjects ranging from Making of the Indian Constitution, Jurisprudential Approach to Constitution to Comparative Federalism, and Legislative Relations. Drawing heavily from the rulings made in the Supreme Court, it is designed to preserve the relationships between state and federal governments and protect the rights of the individual. Furthermore, it enables the students to become better citizens by sensitising them about concepts that are the basis of a civilised society.

UN has shortlisted 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as prime focus. From these 17 goals, 9 goals are directly and indirectly are addressed by Sustainable Energy Engineering (SEE). For SEE professional, sky is not the limit. SEE, finds opportunities from Underwater to over the sky. SEE, will ensure the generation of ‘Green Energy’, however they will also focus on the ‘Sustainability in Energy’. Growing demand for constant and reliable power supply in line with efficient resource utilization, rising penetration of captive power projects coupled with increasing techno financial assistance by regulatory arms will drive the growth of the global market. Sustainable Engineering is the process to generate energy through the processing of organic and inorganic sources. Positive regulatory reforms toward effective management of trash along with stringent government targets to integrate renewable energy resources will drive the industry dynamics in the coming years. This course is aligned with the present trends in the industries at global level keeping all aspects of technological advancement their performance analysis and technology deployment support structure to make the learner develop the required knowledge and skills as per the need of the industries.

Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA + LLB) is a five-year integrated dual degree course which provides an integrated study of management studies and legislative law in an entirely independent manner.

The course is a combination of the study of commerce and law. By completing this integrated program, a student becomes well-versed in two different professional fields as a comprehensive concept with a focus on the impacts of digitisation in the legal industry. Students learn about different digital technologies and solutions, and their effects in the field of law.

Biosimilar is that branch of study which deals with study of drugs that are very similar to original product, but not identical. They are not generic drugs and do not possess the same active pharmaceutical ingredient, yet comparable to original reference drug in terms of quality, safety and efficacy. Biosimilar are alternative potential therapeutics but not generics. For biosimilar products, the manufacturing process requires a high level of monitoring and testing.  

At UPES, B.Tech. Biotechnology students with a specialization in Biosimilar will be made familiar with existing regulations, manufacturing sciences and distribution practices of Biosimilar products in India and all across the globe. Students will learn about controversies associated with Generic drugs and need for development of Biosimilar products. Students will also learn how a drug is discovered in a lab, followed by testing in clinical trials and then launched in market for commercialization.

The specialization in marketing prepares the students on subjects like Financial Institutions and Markets, Behavioural Finance, etc. The program instils the skills, knowledge and aptitude required to develop a holistic understanding of the specialized area, so that the student becomes industry ready.

This course provides an overview and introduction to financial economic analysis covering markets, institutions, structures, and instruments. Some of the basic models used to benchmark valuation of assets and derivatives are studied in detail. These include the Capital Asset Pricing Model and the Binomial Option Pricing model. The course ends with a brief introduction to corporate finance.

UPES School of Design’s Under Graduate Programme in User Experience and Interaction Design blends technical know-how, interdisciplinary research and a creative artistic-scientific approach. This enables the development of creative interfaces that generate progressive and innovative applications for media design, media research, media art, and communication. The B. Tech. Applied Petroleum Engineering spl. in Gas (APEG) is a unique program which allows the students to have the feel of both the upstream – natural gas exploration and production & downstream - natural gas processing and distribution. The students understand the concepts of how natural gas reserves are explored, extracted, processed and then distributed. Students study courses like Enhanced oil recovery, Gasification & Gas to Liquid Technology, liquefied natural gas, city gas distribution etc., with hands-on experience using software like PIPESIM, SIMSCI PIPEPHASE and MATLAB. The graduate students have a huge scope in companies like Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Petronet LNG, Shell, Halliburton, Adani gas, Reliance, etc

Looking at the worldwide requirement of converting the dependencies of countries economy on sustainable and environment friendly technology M. Tech. in Renewable Energy Engineering provides the in-depth knowledge of various domains of Renewable Energy Sources like Solar, Wind, Hydro, Biofuel, Hydrogen etc. This program is equipped with advance tools and lab setup equipped with advance testing kits and provision of engaging the students in real time field visits to perform the feasibility study of various Renewable Energy Systems.

This program offers the blend of placement opportunities in various verticals of Renewable Energy Engineering to work as an Energy Specialist, Energy Consultant, Project Manager, Lead Energy Auditor (ISO-50001 global level), Renewable Energy Products Manager, RE project developer etc.
