This program is designed for students who want not only a sound consolidation of their learnings at undergraduate level in Physics, but also need specialized training in Electronics catering to the future requirements of the industry. It has courses from analog and digital electronics and communication systems. The program is destined to transform the students into professionals ready to participate in industrial revolution 4.0. The specialization courses consist of a set of theory courses backed up with extensive lab sessions and project work.

This program is equipped with advance tools and lab setup equipped with advance testing kits and provision of engaging the students in real time field visits to perform the feasibility study of various Renewable Energy Systems. This program offers the blend of placement opportunities in various verticals of Renewable Energy Engineering to work as an Energy Specialist, Energy Consultant, Project Manager, Lead Energy Auditor (ISO-50001 global level), Renewable Energy Products Manager, RE project developer etc.

UPES School of Design’s Under Graduate Programme, B.Des. in Graphic & Communication Design prepares students for image design, typography, layout design, branding, design history, research methods, web-based design, digital design, photography, and graphics technology. Propulsion and Engine systems plays a vital role in development of various automobile, transport vehicles, aircrafts, rocket engines, ships and navel transport vehicle. The major source of energy to these systems is through the combustion and hence the design of combustion chamber plays a vital role. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) explores the design, monitoring and analysis of propulsion and engine systems. The core part of the course consists of modules, which are considered to build the necessary foundation of the combustion modelling. The advancements in the combustion technology, challenges in designing advance combustion chambers like burners, IC engine Combustion systems, jet engine combustion systems, fuel injectors, supersonic combustors in Scramjets and Rocket engine combustions. The Modelling of these systems are associated with various challenges like flame stabilization studies, turbulence combustion, Spray Systems, multiphase combustion, Microgravity combustion, flames and reactive flows, This module covers Recent Trends in Modelling of Combustion and its available numerical models and computational tools along with the expectation for further developing CFD techniques in the field.

Energy analytics is an interdisciplinary area applying techniques and methodologies of engineering management, economics, statistics, and electrical engineering to solve real-world analytical problems in the energy industry.
