UPES School of Design’s Under Graduate Programme in User Experience and Interaction Design blends technical know-how, interdisciplinary research and a creative artistic-scientific approach. This enables the development of creative interfaces that generate progressive and innovative applications for media design, media research, media art, and communication. The graduates will gain proficiency in creating engaging user interfaces, ranging from 2D screen (UI for web and mobile) to 3D (AR/VR).

UPES School of Design’s Postgraduate Programme, M.Des in Transportation & Mobility Design educates and prepares students with relevant skills and knowledge to resolve the prevailing and future challenges around mobility. B. Tech. Chemical Engineering Spl in Refining and Petrochemicals is a specialization running since 2010 and has been accredited by NBA in 2019. This program enables students to have in-depth knowledge regarding the oil, gas, chemical, and the petrochemical sector, with major future prospects in industries like Exxon Mobil, Halliburton, Shell, Reliance, Phillips Carbon Black Ltd., Dr. Reddy’s Lab, etc. The program deals with courses like Petroleum refining technology, Petrochemical process technology, Catalyst design and catalysis, Chemical Industry 4.0 etc. which prepares the student to be ready for any oil and gas industry. We have our student alumni with this degree doing extremely well in both PSUs like Indian Oil Corporation Limited and also private sector like Exxon Mobil, Halliburton, Shell, Reliance etc.

This specialization introduces blockchain and cryptocurrencies and benefits to industries such as banking, finance, healthcare, real estate and software. This program is developed to give students a practical and theoretical knowledge of information security issues in various industry sectors and help them to develop secure applications with an in-depth understanding of blockchain concepts, designing and developing automated smart contracts, implementation of industry specific blockchain models and frameworks, and protection against attacks.

M.Sc. with specialization of nutrition and dietetics is two year master program, which covers all theory and practical courses of nutrition and dietetics.  This program enable the students to learn the methods of assessing human nutritional requirements, nutritional assessment and diet planning.

UPES School of Design’s Postgraduate Programme, M.Des. in Fashion Design prepares young creative designers to become future fashion thinkers, makers and versatile professionals. The programme covers all aspects of the design process, from trend analysis, research and design development, drawing and illustration, colour and fabric development, historical and cultural studies, translation of ideas from 2D to 3D through to presentation, marketing and business development.
