Food industry is a major industry which requires highly skilled professionals to ensure the food quality, safety and worldwide management. The aim of this course is to provide in-depth study of various areas related to food technology that will enable the students to understand food composition, their nutritional, microbiological, processing and organoleptic aspects. This program also upskills the students in the processing techniques by in hand training in food industries. They are also taught about the importance of food plant sanitation, international and national food laws and regulations applicable in food industry.

B.Sc. (Hons.) microbiology program beside studying basic and applied field of microbiology including bacteriology, virology, medical and environmental microbiology, microbes in food, dairy and agriculture students also acquire knowledge and skills related to interdisciplinary fields including chemistry, computers, biostats, biotechnology, bioinformatics, analytical instrumentation and others.

Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning (AI &ML) relates to the field of computer science and helps in making the intelligent systems or machines that can simulate the human behaviour, their thinking capability. It works either on the basis of data without or with the explicitly designed program or machine algorithm. Few examples where AI is used are online Game playing, customer support using catboats, robot, intelligent humanoid, Siri, work on artificial intelligence. Machine learning works on the information extracted from data and it is considered as subfield of artificial intelligence. ML is used or predictions or in decision making based on the past data, for example, online recommendations, picture detections, search engine algorithm, auto-friend tagging suggestions etc.

The programme on M.Sc. Zoology beside providing conceptual and practical knowledge related to basic and applied field of zoology also aims to provide skills related to advanced analytical techniques utilized in zoological studies with an objective to impart research aptitude among students. The curriculum is enriched with seminar presentation, industrial visit and report writing enhance communication and presentation skills with dissertation being a compulsory part inculcates critical thinking ability to design and develop solutions to problems related to environment, health and society.

BBA program gives the students strategic outlook on problems of business organization, management & solutions to them. The BBA program seeks to provide to the management trainees the understanding of the theory, practice of management and the required knowledge and skills to succeed in the business world. The degree programme is intended for those who wish to acquire business and managerial knowledge and skills. The curriculum provides the students with a strategic perspective on contemporary issues in management. This program provides the students with practical orientation and broad specialization in marketing, finance, information systems, human resource management and international business. Bachelor of Physiotherapy is a professional programme that deals with the science of physical movement and directing it to prevent disability of movement. Physiotherapy or physical therapy is a health profession that helps people maintain or restore their physical mobility, function, and strength. Under this programme electrotherapy, evidence-based kinesiology, exercise prescription, and shockwave mobility to treat chronic conditions of the bones and soft tissues are used. Physiotherapists work with patients and their families/caretakers to cure problems experienced as a result of illness, injury, and disability.

Students will learn a variety of client-centered responsive services, rehabilitation practises, and psychosocial, ethical, and legal issues pertaining to physiotherapy practice. This programme demands its aspirants to have sound clinical knowledge and the scientific sense behind all the clinical modes performed for the clients. This profession demands high patience with its clients and high levels of empathy towards their ailment and sufferings.
