Understanding contemporary corporate finance is the key to understanding modern business. Covering all areas of finance including investment analysis and capital management, you’ll have the tools to solve financial problems faced by business today.

This course is tailored towards ambitious students who want a management and finance degree, and you’ll learn in a live environment. Using data from the London Stock Exchange, you’ll form portfolios of listed companies and compare it against the market. You’ll identify over and under-priced companies, as well as calculating Beta, among other skills.

You’ll take on the challenge of a work placement, developing your theory and practical skills to an employable level, as well as developing your understanding of financial organisations.he programme is studied over three years full-time, or four years if the option of a 12 month placement is taken. The course is divided into modules and each has a value of 30 credits. You must successfully pass modules to gain credits. To gain a BA (Hons) degree title you must gain 360 credits of which 120 must be in Year 3.

BA Criminology (Criminal Justice)

Our criminal justice degree approaches the subject from a theoretical, research-informed, and practice-based perspective. This means that during your time studying you’ll gain an understanding of the criminal justice system, including an introduction to law and legal justice and the different career paths you might want to pursue after graduation. The games industry is  complex and diverse industry that spans a variety of old and new technologies fm print to computer software to 3D printed game pieces. Our BA/BSc in games design gives you the transferable skills and knowledge you need to become a successful games designer in this industry. Led by academic staff experienced in AAA, indie, tabletop and mobile gaming, you'll develop your technology and story development skills, as well as enhancing your game-play design expertise.

Depending on your interests, you will work on the technical side of games design and testing in the BSc, while the BA is focused on experience design and using scripting and games engines to produce satisfying gameplay experiences.

Developed in partnership with the NHS trusts, the course will see you spend 50% of your time on placements with our partner hospitals. You’ll learn the essential nursing skills needed to take effective care of adult patients in a live environment.

The Foundation Year in Performing Arts is taught in our excellent studios and facilities at our Hendon campus by the same lecturing staff who teach on our degree courses. During your BSc in Public Health, you’ll be encouraged to take on a work placement so you can gain professional and practical skills in the workplace. You’ll embed with a local authority or NGO and work on an aspect of public health you're interested in, working on a research project at the same time. Such placements are under the control of our employer partners who may restrict access to placement experience in light of the ongoing Covid 19 outbreak.

The BSc Environmental Health Apprenticeship degree* is professional programme that will prepare the apprentice for a career as an Environmental Health Practitioner in the public or private UK sector. They will gain the knowledge and skills to assess and apply effective solutions to improve environmental and public health in a variety of settings.

This programme has been designed to provide education to those wishing to enter the environmental health profession which upholds healthy environments and protects public health. Through their studies on-campus and experience in the workplace, the apprentice will explore the relationship between professional, domestic and leisure environments and how they impact on the health and well-being of individuals and societies. They will cover a range of topics and subject matter including public health, food safety, environmental protection, private sector housing improvement and occupational health and safety.

The apprentice will benefit from specialist teaching and learning spaces for environmental health, including a food inspection laboratory, an environmental and occupational health laboratory, a Grade 2 microbiology laboratory, a biology laboratory and chemistry laboratories. Our lecturers are environmental health practitioners with experience in key areas such as food safety, health and safety, and private sector housing.

Upon graduation, they will be prepared to enter careers in both the public and private sectors and will be confident in evaluating the legal and social framework within which environmental health operates. As this course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH), the apprentice will be encouraged to also complete the CIEH Chartered Practitioner Programme and become a Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner.
