Agriculture has evolved from hand hoes and sickles to today's tools: drones, crop sensors and drought-resistant plants. Students who select the Agricultural Technology Management emphasis of the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Technology Management and Education specialize in one of six areas: controlled environment agriculture, field crop production and management, information systems, horticulture management, turf grass management or animal agriculture. They will develop a strong foundation of technical expertise and field experience, learning how to use technology and modern techniques. Coursework focuses on skill development in areas such as lab and shop safety, applications in agricultural mechanics, operations in urban agricultural mechanization, and irrigation and turf maintenance.

Global Studies is an interdisciplinary approach to thinking critically about global issues. This Bachelor of Arts is structured around intellectual and experiential frameworks that empower students to analyze, adapt, communicate, problem-solve and empathize. The Global Political and Economy emphasis examines the mechanisms of order and disorder, and cooperation and conflict among humans. It also explores the major types of formal organizations, including nation-states, international or transnational organizations, and nongovernment organizations. Students gain knowledge of diverse global institutions and their political, economic, social and cultural impacts on the world. They also develop ""global competency"" by obtaining the necessary skills for engaging in problem-solving across boundaries.

Students learn how to use environmentally, socially and economically sustainable growing systems in arid lands and urban settings. The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre gives students the preparation they need for a professional career in the theatre industry, thanks to the program's rigorous core curriculum in acting, voice, movement and performance. Coursework includes Stanislavsky-based acting training; voice and movement studio work; private voice lessons; general voice classes; performance classes in various styles and genres; dance fundamentals; and professional development and business strategies. Students enjoy numerous opportunities to perform, including onstage, in film and through the Arizona Repertory Theatre and the Arizona Theatre Company.

This Bachelor of Arts introduces students to the fundamentals of journalism, including important aspects of the field such as law and ethics. Students learn to gather information, interview subjects, analyze the content, distill it and then communicate to an audience effectively, accurately, quickly and ethically. While students get exposure to all aspects of journalism, they can also specialize in broadcast or global journalism, even opting for coursework in digital media, such as drone videography or app development, to further prepare them for this always-changing field. A second major or a minor in a specialized field, such as political science, religion or Middle Eastern studies, is required.

Environmental Studies sheds light on the human dimensions of environmental issues. The interdisciplinary nature of this Bachelor of Arts makes the study of geography critical to understanding key factors affecting the environment in today's world.
