If you aspire to use your musical talent and passion in a performance career, then our Bachelor of Music degree is for you. Our performance degree is designed for you to elevate your musical skills to the highest level. You’ll receive group and individualized training and gain proficiency in critical thinking, skill development, time management, self-discipline, and focused practice. There are five concentrations within the music performance major: instrumental, piano, voice, composition and technology and commercial music.

The Department offers the Organismal Biology major leading to the Bachelor of Science degree.  The curricula for this major is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in biology as well as providing the opportunity for specialization. This program also provides a strong preparation for further study in graduate programs or in professional schools, including medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine and other allied health fields.

Supply chain management is the oversight of the flow of goods and services—a simple definition for a complex system. Supply chain management involves planning and the execution of processes that enable the flow of goods and services, inventory management, logistics, storage, transportation and risk management—all of which enable business success.

The major in agricultural science offers a broad base of knowledge and expertise across a variety of agricultural disciplines. The cross-disciplinary program was developed in response to a growing and more diverse agricultural industry as well as the increased need among related industries for a more broadly skilled workforce.

An agricultural science degree will prepare you for careers in such fields as agribusiness, extension, government agencies, production agriculture and commodity groups. It is also an excellent foundation for graduate studies and an ideal double-major for Auburn agriscience education students.

What you’ll Study
We call agricultural science the big-picture major because it offers a broad overview of 21st-century agriculture. As a student in the program, you’ll take courses that run the gamut from crop science, entomology and landscape gardening to agribusiness marketing, farm equipment repair and aquaculture production.

The Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering provides a broad-based set of skills and knowledge that serves the needs of major sectors of the modern economy including manufacturing of consumer goods, the automotive industry, the energy sector, and the defense sector.

The law and justice major is designed to better prepare students for law school by using an interdisciplinary approach, offering courses in political science, philosophy, communication and journalism.

Auburn’s Bachelor of Science in Building Construction (BSCI) Program is a four-year ACCE accredited program focused on construction management including specialized training in estimating, scheduling, project management, safety, surveying, sustainable construction, and structures.

The Building Construction Program is unique due to its leading-edge information technology applications emphasis. This combination provides graduates a comprehensive foundation for success. Today’s consumers want the news in every form—on their phone, in a podcast, through social media, on television. With a Bachelor of Arts in journalism, you’ll learn how to research and report news and information across all platforms, both digital and traditional. You can specialize in broadcast, community, digital technology, entrepreneurial/business, health and science, investigative, magazine, sports, or visual journalism. And you’ll receive additional hands-on practical experience when you work at the student newspaper, television station, radio station, magazine, or yearbook.

Our Bachelor of Arts in psychology gives you access to the latest knowledge, cutting-edge research, scientific tools, and best practices for the study of human behavior.
