The Department offers the Organismal Biology major leading to the Bachelor of Science degree.  The curricula for this major is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in biology as well as providing the opportunity for specialization. This program also provides a strong preparation for further study in graduate programs or in professional schools, including medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine and other allied health fields.

The non-thesis Master of Science in Materials Engineering provides students an advanced level of knowledge in mechanical properties, materials structure, materials thermodynamics, kinetics and electrical, optical and magnetic properties of materials.

Your studies as a Biological and Agricultural Technology Management (BATMan or BATM) major at Auburn will be a combination of science, technological systems, and business courses.

With 70 percent increase in global demand for healthy food, clean water and affordable energy in a healthy environment due to world population that is expected to reach over 9 billion by 2050, BATM graduates will be in high demand to develop, operate, support and spread technologies to support agricultural and biological systems that produce and provide these essentials of life. BATM graduates will also acquire skills that are transferable to other sectors that rely heavily on technology such as automotive and manufacturing industries.

What you’ll Study
Students will take a variety of courses in technology, science and management that will enable them to be practical problem solvers, and be able to manage and develop solutions to the technological challenges of the increasingly complex agricultural and biological systems of the 21st century.

The curriculum is also designed such that students can simultaneously obtain a minor in Agronomy and Soils, Stewardship-based Agriculture, Agribusiness, Information Systems Management, Technical and Professional Communication, Poultry Science or Business Analytics.

The Bachelor of Arts in French-international trade is a professional degree that broadens your understanding of society through cultural exchange in French and provides you with communication skills, linguistic dexterity, critical thinking, and cultural awareness. Our Environmental Science major program is an interdisciplinary degree, incorporating studies such as soil science, physics, chemistry, biology and geology. Our performance degree is designed for you to elevate your musical skills to the highest level. There are five concentrations within the music performance major: instrumental, piano, voice, composition and technology and commercial music.

The Department of Aerospace Engineering offers both a thesis and non-thesis Master of Science, which provide students an opportunity to sharpen their skills in aerospace system design, development, manufacturing, maintenance, and operation. Those who earn the degree will have a competitive advantage among industry and government employers
