TV Writers Studio (TVWS) is a one-of-a-kind writing practicum. Pure and simple, the goal of the TVWS is to educate and to develop highly skilled, experienced professionals with strong portfolios who will be prepared to begin careers in the television industry as writer/producer/entrepreneurs.

Each year, the TVWS has two cohorts running side-by-side: one in its first year, the other in its second and final year. The students invited to participate in the TVWS become part of an intensive, two year curriculum of study during which they function collaboratively like the staff of an ongoing television series; and independently, as writer/creators of their own TV series pilot and web series.

Upon completing the 48 credit program, each student will graduate with an M.F.A in Writing and Producing for Television which.

The Master of Public Health (M.P.H) is a professional degree program for individuals seeking training and experience in applied public health. The program of study is flexible and can be tailored to accommodate the professional requirements of the student by offering specialization courses that provide them with the opportunity to examine a specific management function or an area of application in greater depth. Other specializations can be developed in consultation with a faculty advisor from the broad spectrum of courses available through the Program and the School, as well as through courses available across the Campus.

The Program is divided into four parts: an introductory sequence that provides 15 credits of public service sector foundations and skills, followed by 9 credits of focused management topics including human resources, budgeting and financial management, and law and accountability. Students then take 12 credits in an area of specialization and a required six-credit integrative capstone experience, which culminates in a project and a formal presentation.

The B.S. in Exercise Science & Wellness specifically focuses on areas such as human performance, exercise physiology, strength & conditioning, nutrition, biomechanics, sports management and inclusive fitness programing. Respiratory care professionals treat patients who exhibit a range of diverse health issues including asthma, pneumonia, emphysema, cystic fibrosis, lung cancer as well as those who are having respiratory problems related to trauma, strokes, heart attacks, and premature birth.

Through classroom, laboratory and diverse clinical site practicum, students develop the necessary health care knowledge, bedside skills and problem-solving abilities to serve the health needs of patients from newborns to the elderly. They are prepared to manage both acute and chronic diseases that affect the cardiopulmonary system as well as trauma, sub-acute disease, and public health issues from asthma to tuberculosis.
